None of you guys here at the LC know i take care of my mom a lot. Does anyone else go thru this? It would be nice to know someone else feels my pain and knows what life is like when you have to take care of not just your own immediate family, but your parents too. It's a lot of hard work. Harder than i ever expected, with a lot fewer rewards than your children give you. Sometimes, i wish i could just put her in a home, but i know she'd never be happy there. Most people who know me, know that I had a rough life growing up. I was disciplined so much that I thought I was abused. About a year ago I started working on a PitFall type game using SDL. It was a pain staking process, but I eventually got most of the artwork done and a simple screen that hd some swinging vines and a walking man. San Diego And Tijuana Were Awesome!
I had the best time of my life this weekend, seriously. Thursday night Tina, Aaron, and I left Ridgecrest for West Hollywood. We got to club Tigerheat around 11pm and it was crazy. It was christmas themed so everyone was dressed up and there was fake snow falling from the ceiling and the place was completely packed. Everyone was dancing and it was just so fun. LETTER TO THE EDITOR OF "THE NEWS-REVIEW" IN DOUGLASS COUNTY, OREGON. I think this rule should apply in all states!!! I have a question, not only for Douglas County, but for the entire state of Oregon. Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job. I work, they pay me, I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as they see fit. In order for me to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test, which I have no problem with. What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check, because I have to pass one to go earn it for them? Please understand, I have nothing against helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sit on their butt.
