Hello my blog reading friends
Thanks for stopping by and
taking time to read my
blabbling thoughts and
sharing your thoughts
in a very different way
than the norm . . .
I like doing things different ...
I avoid any routine (beside this one)
In fact the ONLY thing I want
to be "REGULAR" at my age
is my trips to the bathrooms!
I've always ventured away from the main stream.
In early life (grade school in fact)
I heard two phrases that I took
to heart and seemed to always
stick with me during my life.
One was:
"Never lack the flare"
The other ...
While my '"flare" has diminished and faltered -
I've managed to keep from obsecrity and
totally blending in by being different.
My daring difference is individuality
that although unconventional,
it's as far from the 'norm' as
it is from nonconformist . . .
A nonconformist in my eyes is
just going against the grain
but still follows others and will
often group with the like-minded set.
Me, I'm not the oddball different --
as the guy out on an empty dance floor
dancing to an erratic convulsions.
Nor the being different to be noticed for such
as a group of makeup wearing
self proclaimed emo's or goths.
Mine is the under the radar, borderline,
proud of my difference yet not wanting
to be noticed for being different-but,
being known for just being me!
What makes you different
We all have are special kind of individuality ...
One of mine may be that I've
many hippy like qualities ...
But I would feel more at ease
in a republican business brunch
than I would in a convention
of The grateful dead hippies.
Or though my faded & torn jeans are
20 years old but I'll wear 40 dollar underwear.
Eclectic in many ways, but adding a little
of my own flare to a varied believes & values
I'm quirky and kooky like that ...
What makes YOU ... YOU?
Sometimes I dont have anything planned
and I just want to try different things,
So I seen that sparkly background and
wanted to pair it with something as contrasting
as I could find just to see the end result ...
Well, orange with circles is as contrasting
as purple(ish) sparkles and I just let things go ...
Sometimes they look good,
other times they just dont ...
I just like them to be ...
