I'm so excited to announce this it deserves a blog. I've been a DJ since I was 15 years old. Got my first gig in a strip club that lasted 2 years. Then it moved into private parties. Honestly, I missed DJing and finally decided to get back to doing it. I plan to spin alot of dirty dubstep, drum and bass, hip hop, and occasionally remixes of top 40 shit. if everything works the way i have it planned I'm going to have one big party in one of the lounges here....hopefully. I don't really plan to tour or anything like that unless I have too. I'm doing this because i love djing and mixing. Also to make the fu-ladies get up and shake that ass. Listen....I am still dropping my hip hop projects this year with no question. I dont know if im going to be an rapper after this year depending on the success of the projects i release. i will not stop making music thats for sure. If you are going to be a DJ in our lounge you need to commit to at least 2 sets per week , unless you are a guest djay. Every Effort should be made to play all requests whenever possible . If you cannot do your set please make every effort to have it covered and you must yim DJ MADDOG or DJ MIGAMORSE and let them know you can't make your set at least 3 hours in advance. All DJ`s should be in the lounge 15 mins before their set begins . Stop taking request 15 mins before your set is due to end . All new djays will have a one week probationary period. If you cause any problems for staff or lounge members, you will terminated immediately We play all kinds of music and we get requests for all kinds of music so we have to be flexible in what we play This is a great lounge to work in and be a part of and it will remain that way, lets all have fun and be the best lounge on fubar!!

Just people that click on some songs and thats it.. A real DJ talks.. interacts with the listeners..Actually around when someone wants to request something.. but alas.. you aren't.. I guess you all think it is "HOT" or "SEXY" to put "DJ" in your names.. DJs ARE EXPERT MIND READERS When requesting a song from the DJ, just say "play my song", or "it goes something like this" then hum a few bars! We have a chip implanted in our heads with an unlimited database with the favorite tunes of every patron who ever walked into a bar & all songs ever recorded, so feel free to be vague, we love the challenge. If we do not remember exactly what tune you want, we're only kidding. DJs know every song ever recorded, so keep humming. Hum harder if need be ... it helps jog the memory. If a DJ tells you they do not know a song you want to hear, they either forgot that they know the tune or they are just putting you on. Try singing a few words for the DJ. Any words. It also helps to scream your request from across the room several times per set followed by the phrases, "AW COME ON!" and, "YOU SUCK!" Exaggerated hand gestures expressing disapproval from the dance floor are a big help as well, such as the thumbs down or your middle

Dj's Notebook Entry 1 - Thoughts On Blue Orion Family, Life As A Dj And More.
I am beginning a new series of blogs. Once a week, I will talk strictly from the point of view of a DJ. I won't be talking about anything going on that outside folks don't need to know, but I WILL share my thoughts on how life affects my DJ career. First topic - Blue Orion itself. I love this place. It's absolutely the BEST place I have been. The owner, Dawn...wow. She is a truly great boss and someone that, if this were a terrestrial radio station, I would jump at the chance to work for in a heartbeat. Then there are my fellow DJ's. DJ Purr...she has a great voice. You can tell when it's her. Everybody loves her voice. There's DJ Direct Imput. He's into the same kind of music as my friend Toni, which of course means she likes him. I don't know how that man can do everything he does. We have DJ Devine. I haven't had a chance to hear her but I believe she has potential. The same can be said for DJ's Hekyll, Hyde, and Iceman. DJ Madcat is from the UK. I like his accent...defi

Dj's Notebook 2 - Thoughts About The Week 2/10-2/17
I was going to write this entry on February 15, but I held off. Now, I'm not going to hold off any more but write what's really been on my mind. First off, the week was almost a total loss. Monday and Tuesday brought snow and ice that kept me indoors most of the time. Wednesday was okay, I thought. Then Thursday it took a tailspin with the worst coming Friday. Wednesday, I actually had a halfway decent playlist I thought. Both shows went well. Except for the handoff into the afternoon show. Which I thought sucked, though was no fault of either DJ since we have two streams now. Thursday, I could not get away from a lot of the love songs. If Erin hadn't done what she did to me last month, I would have been just fine. But I wasn't. Fact is, much of the morning I kinda wanted to cry and scream, beginning with the first song choice I had for the day...which was Lynard Skynard - Sweet Home Alabama. More on that below.
