Double-chocolate Layered Torte
Prep Time: 15 min Total Time: 1 hr 50 min Makes: 16 servings, one slice each 1 pkg. (2-layer size) chocolate cake mix 4 squares BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate, melted 1/2 cup strawberry jam 1-1/2 cups sliced strawberries 1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed 1-1/2 tsp. powdered sugar PREHEAT oven to 350ºF. Lightly grease two 9-inch round baking pans. Prepare cake batter as directed on package. Stir in chocolate. Pour evenly into prepared pans. BAKE 30 to 35 min. or until wooden toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean. Cool in pans on wire rack 10 min. Loosen cakes from sides of pans. Invert cakes onto racks; gently remove pans. Cool cakes completely. CUT cakes horizontally in half with serrated knife. Place one of the bottom cake layers on serving plate; spread with about 2 Tbsp. of the jam. Top with layers of 1/2 cup of the strawberries and 1 cup of the whipped topping. Repeat layers two times. ever start to get excited about something or feel happy about something and then once you start to think about it, it seems too good to be true? and so you start questioning things and having doubts flood your mind? i hate that, but it's mildly there. i want to believe this is real, but because of past experience, and a few other things, the doubts are starting to beat at me. probably cause whenever there's something i really want or start to actually get happy/excited about, it doesn't happen for whatever reason. and it becomes a big disappointment. i don't want that with this at all, so i'm even more on edge about it. i knew i shouldn't have let myself feel too happy about it... and no, don't really feel like giving details. if you are reading this, and you think you understand, then go ahead and ask/comment. but otherwise, just consider this "venting".

Ever since some sour asshole made that fake RussianSlutt profile, I have been doubting all my good friends on here that knew my private info, which is driving me fuckin nuts... Ok SOOOOO...I got my comments back! Yay! But I have been threatened with deletion if I violate the TOS and was told by Scrapper not to post hate. Yes we have enough troops. The politicians are afraid to use them all. Because with no reserves we go back to a draft, just like wars past. Had we had a draft and mobilized 750,000 it would be over now. The death toll would have been high but it would have been over. In a world where you can date with out sex, screw with out dating, and in the end keep most of your sex partners as friends long after the screwing is over what really defines a relationship? I had a friend ask me, if she started talking to her Ex again would that be wrong? I asked her if she still had feeling for him and if she could put those aside for sake of a friendship. I just got a call from a guitarist who I've jammed with a couple of times and he offered me a gig playing lead in the country band that recently offered him a gig playing rhythm. On one hand, even though I can handle lead, I much prefer playing bass or rhythm and country is the one genre of music that I don't really care for (except for Johnny Cash and some Willie Nelson). On the other hand, when they offered him the gig, he said that they're really good and that they have a showcase coming up (a showcase is when you have record company reps in the audience). Ultimately, I turned it down, but not without a few second thoughts. I just can't believe that I was just offered a gig playing lead in a country band. LOL
