My Grandma
She was born in 1918. The youngest of five, born to a conservative couple in Eaton, IN. She had five older brothers. Her father was a Secret Service agent until she was three years old. They then moved to Michigan for a time, only to return back to indiana when she was about 12. She married my grandfather at the age of 20. Nine months later my uncle was born, followed a year later by my aunt. In 1943, my mom was born. My grandpa, soon after, left grandma. They divorced in 1944. He offered no support to her, so she went to work at Goodyear. Here, she helped manufacture tires for military vehicles in support of WWII. She was an original "Riveting Rosie". End Of Summer
Just wanna say a quick hello to everyone! Hope everyones had a great summer!! School has finally started so I have a lil more free time but not much! My daughter is in gymnastics, my son is in cub scouts, and ive been baby-sittin and also gettin involved with scouts and different things that will be goin on at school. A social studies schoolteacher at Robinson High School in Little Rock did something not to be forgotten. On the first day of school, with the permission of the school superintendent, the principal and the building supervisor, she removed all of the desks out of her classroom. My Student Lan Ii
I couldn't be prouder than a peacock for my ESL student Lan. We have both been asked to make a presentation speech for our annual awards banquet later this month. This is in addition to the presentation we made at the orientation for new teachers two weeks ago. She has worked hard to get to this point in less than two years. She has gone from not speaking or reading a word of english in 2000 to being tested in May and acheiveing nearly a 10th grade level in reading comprehension. I was told by my supervisor that she has only one level left in our program before she will have to seek help elsewhere if she wishes to continue studying english. We are looking for additional resources to help her continue. One option is to become a tutor herself but she is not that confident right now. That will come in time.

A Dear Friend
A very dear friend of mine was shot and killed by police sunday night. his girlfriend call police for help because Steve was talking suicide. His mother recently passed away and he was very depressed. A cry for help resulted in death. He had a shotgun in his back yard, wouldnt drop it the first time asked, fired it in the air and they ( the police ) opened fire. Why wasnt someone there to talk to him, to help him get help? Does society not care anymore when you cry out for help. Please keep his family in your prayers, as he was a very sweet and upstanding citizen, business owner and had many friends.

New Baby!!
I found out a couple of weeks ago that Ana is pregnant! :D I was cautiously optimistic at first, because of the fail pregnancy last time. :( Now everything seems to being moving along as it should!! :D Ana had her first ultra sound last week and every thing look good! She is about six weeks along and no problems so far knock on wood! Next visit is a week from Friday where we should see the heart beat!!! So keep your fingers crossed!!! :D :D

Its All Just Gravy
It is easy to be happy when things are going your way and there are no obstacles to the things you desire in life. Today however, I realized that I have been joyfully happy for days, yet I have no car, my bills are crushing me, and it appears that everything is going to fall apart soon in the near future. Why am I happy? When I first asked myself this question I could not give an answer….but upon further reflection …I discovered that it was due to the fact that I finally just let go. There is only so much in life that I can do at one time…and even if the worst happens I will survive….life will go on …it will get better…and someday I will probably be back to this same situation because life is lived in cycles, cycles of good times, and then cycles of not so good times. It is the way of life. I am loved by my family. My family is relatively healthy, I have good friends, and I have a roof over my head. Everything else is gravy and I am very Happy!!!

Trying To Find My Way
I had a great lunch today. I brought home someone that I have been attracted to for awhile now, we went in my room to have a drink and listen to sum music then things got a little freaky. She takes off her clothes, I take off mine and we start playing around. Next thing, theres a knock on the door and what do ya know, it's my wife, I tell her that someone is with me and she says "I dont care, I want to watch". One thing leads to another and boom, my wife and this other "friend" and taking turns with me for the next hour! What a great lunch! Thanks to both of you!

Now that I'm in Ohio, I've had to make some choices that have made an impact on me. I don't make as much money working at the pizza shop, but I don't have other peoples lives in my hand(just there food). To me that's enough to make it worth getting less pay. NAILS IN THE FENCE Make sure you read all the way down to the last sentence. (Most importantly the last sentence) There once was a little boy who had a bad temper. His Father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the back of the fence. The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence. Good Bye To The Dogs
For those who read the previous bolg this is a follow-up. Talked to the vet this morning and Nutter did respond well to the IV. Food seems to be staying down and after some diareah her stools are now firming and - Most Importantly - are blood free. She purrs at anyone who talks to her, seeking human attention and the vet has given orders that the staff is to do so, including petting and stroking her having first washed hands so that no other smells intrude. This important because even the sound of a dog's collar rattling sends Nutter into a total fear reaction. So the vet says that it is unlikely that we can safely return her here until the dogs are gone, nor are we likely to be able to have any dog, even a tired old non-chasing critter for as long as Nutter lives. So we are paying to have her baorded there until Snoopy and Harley are gone. The sorta good news on that is that BRAT has responded quickly and the head of it here in WA will come get them tomorrow night after she gets

There will always be things in life that will stand the test of time... True love is one of those things. I used to wonder about alot of things, but love and whhether or not true love existed were never something I ever worried about. Long Boring Day
So, today has been a long boring day. Work has been just that, work! And nothing really exciting is happening. I wish I had my own office because I'd be perving alot more than I am, but those are the breaks I guess. Don't you hate days like this? Every time I go see my neurologist, one of the first things I am always asked is are you having any hallucinations? Up until recently I would say no, but this is about to change. This is in memory of CHEAYLA, she was taken from this world by a drunk driver. She had such a loving heart and was always there when you needed her. My Blog
Never in a million years would you think I would be the legal guardian of anyone. Never in a million years would you think I would be the legal guardian of someone older then me. My mother went for surgery a few weeks ago, and long story short because of many different excuses they had to put it off for a week. When they finally did put the stints in (she has some blood clots in veins in her brain), every thing went fine. This was the third time she had it done. After the procedure, she started to feel dizzy and threw up. She had a very severe stroke.There was a lot of bleeding in her brain. As of Friday night, they didn't know if she was going to live. I've been back and forth to DC all weekend. As of Sunday night, they think she will live. They aren't sure, but that is what they think. Im Doing It
hmmmm how to put this... few weeks ago i thought ok i cant get a date so ill make some changes in me...lately ive been walking 10 miles a day plus mowing my yards that i do (which is about 21 22 yards) i have cut reg soda out and am know drinking diet pepsi and it taste so good when you work up a sweat...lol i have cut way back on my meals.. i have a slim fast meal on the go bar and one snack bar.. and my supper is a healthy choice dinner... and to top it all off im drinking loads and loads of water..ive got a 52 oz bubba keg and i keep it full with water and drink it all day....i used to be able to wear a ring on my right hand well guess what i cant wear it no more it just falls off..in doing this for just 4 days know ive lost a total of 20 lbs my goal is to get to around 150... here in the comming weeks im looking into getting me a mountain bike and once i do ill be riding that 10 to 15 miles a day.... just thought id share this with ya

Flu...blah!
I'm not sure to post this or not, just wanted to let all my friends know that I talk to on a daily basis or see me around anyway...I was feeling a bit ill yesterday had a bit of a sore throat & stuffy nose, no biggie, figured it was just my allergies, well around 3pm I got up from a nap & felt as if a freakin freight train had run right into my body! Of course I went downhill from there, spiked a 104 almost 105 temp, had 2 asthma attacks from coughing so hard & so much & my throat felt like sandpaper lol...not to mention my body was just aching & I fell over twice cuz my legs were like jello lol! So anyway I went to the ER last night & of course wouldn't you know it I have the flu, broncitis AND a sinus infection...yea I cant get just one...gotta shake it up LOL! The Dr told me had I waited until today to go in I would have probably had full blown pneumonia. So they gave me some pretty strong breathing treatments of Prednesone(steroid), 2 steroid pills & 2 antibiotics...I'm feeling

This was an actual email sent to the men at work: I have tried to word this as “cleanly” as possible. Last night when the cleaning crew was taking care of the restrooms, they found a very nasty mess in the men’s restroom on the tenant side of the building. The handicap stall commode was covered in feces. This is the third time this has happened but this is by far the worst (I saw it). The cleaning crew left the mess for me to see and they will be cleaning it up tonight. There will be an extra charge on your cleaning bill for this. I do not want to assume that this was done intentionally, but let’s just say that it would be very difficult to do this by accident. Please let your male staff know that this is has been noted and is being addressed. Ok, now I come to some serious questions...things I have been thinking about a lot lately. Facing Fear
I took these photos to challenge myself. I face my fear every day, every morning, every evening. For some people phobias might seem like a joke. But other people will know how real they can be. My fear has been with me as long as I can remember. Which is to say that there isn't a timeframe in my memory I can look back on when I was not afraid of bridges. I wish there was. I have had hypnosis therapy to deal with a traumatic experience of seeing a bridge collapse in Connecticut when I was about 9 or 10 years old. The root of my fear is that it will collapse while I am on the span. My secondary fear is that I will witness it collapsing and people dying but I myself will be spared. My lower level fear is that I will one day see a jumper. I've been in traffic because of one, I've read about them, but I haven't seen one. And I hope I never do. New York State Of Mind
Yup . . . after 15 years of wandering around the southwest, I'm moving back to New York. The beautiful Mohawk Valley. This is something that has just come up, there's a family issue that needs the big sister to take over and fix. Well, I can't fix it, but I'll be there to pick up the pieces when it all crashes . . . and it will. So I may have a white Christmas after all. Kinda nervous.

I never write my own blogs i always find good information about the lifestyle and post it...poems that move me or people i give props to....Today I am going to inspire myself! Due time dammit. I like to say i am broken hearted I like to say I feel the burn in my soul, that I am lost, unkept a mess. I am not. I may feel free, in an odd sort of deversion. Lies come forth, realization of reality that I knew was always happening was told to me. Other women come to me tell me I AM THE FOOL. I wont be played, I will be loved, cherished, honored, things you could never put forth to me. no mail ever came, no one showed up at my door, at my hardest times I find out where you really are...thank you to all my girls for showing and telling me things i would have never seen. My heart it may have broke if i let it. But I never hate I just walk away and know I can be loved and cherished, honored, admired, and be someone else's prize possesion......Thanks again girls for all the info

Doing Away With Top Friends
I've decided to do away with it...How can I put a number on people that I'm close too...I can't..There are many people on here that I love to hear from and chat with...But to label all a number is completely unfair...Those on my family list...I'm closer too...And..there again...they are not numbered...And won't be...Each one special to me in one way or another...Some more than others for obvious reasons... I apologize if this hurts anyone's feelings...It's not meant to do that...I find that keeping people numbered hurts more feelings...
