Sunday sept. 23 my extended family lost a great member. Anthony Lataster 20yrs old, died from a motorcycle accident. Reawakening Through Writing
Why do bad things happen in threes? It's not just that famous people tend to die in bunches of threes, but even the little things happen in threes it seems. First my iPod breaks this week, then I find the bank screwed up paying one of my bills (I normally love electronically paying bills), and to top it off, my trip back to the states for a class has been postponed for a month due to the lack of someone else being able to do their job. Happy Friday everyone! Boy has Fubar messed up this time! When I logged on this morning, I saw a bulletin about how anyone can see your private pictures. I didn't believe it at first but I went into my pictures and noticed that someone who was not my friend had seen my private picture! So it was true. It happened last night and it still not fixed yet. I tried to make a new folder with new settings but it didn't work, the pictures disappeared! Great! Hopefully they didn't go to someone else's profile! That would not be cool! Okay so one story about Mr. Tal. He drove a Winnebago on every trip I went on with my youth group as a teenager. Sadly, the title to this post is true. I miscarried. Ernest took me to the er saturday night because I was bleeding and cramping really bad. I had started passing lumps earily saturday morn and I just knew something was wrong. The er doc said that it did not look good. Friends are friends forever together 'till the end. You promised me that you would always be my friend. One day something changed I'm not sure what it was. I lost you on that day and the reason was because it was a late dark night and we had a stupid fight. And for some reason, I don't know why, we couldn't make it right. We went our separate ways. Houston, We Have A Problem.
I am finished moving into my new house. It is down the road from where I used to live. About a mile in fact. It is a two story with upstairs balcony and downstairs porch. I had a physical therapy appointment today. We discussed what she should try on me this time since taping up my shoulder didn't work and my skin reacted to the tape when she did it. She tried this electrode machine on my back and shoulder to react to the muscles. She left it on for about 20 minutes and it helped a lot. That is until she went to turn it off and she accidentally turned it the other way and shocked the Hell out of me. She felt so bad. It scared the shit out of me. LMAO! So she ordered me a machine to be sent to my home so I can do it to myself. I was really surprised how much it helped me. She said to do it 1 to 2 times a day to relax those muscles. What a pain in the ass! Our power went out yesterday morning after I wrote my blog on here. I thought it might be out for a couple of hours. NO! It didn't come back on until about 45 minutes ago. I have never been with out power that long as far as I can remember. It was a very bad storm wit high winds and lots of rain. It has rained off and on today but the worst is to come tonight and it is supposed to be a 5 day storm. I am worried that I will lose power again. Ok back in july my husband went to court to retrieve about 600 dollars from a lady that owes us. We got the court order to receive 30 dollars a month. OMG, I can barely walk! I can't believe that dancing all night has caused me to feel like I am 85 years old! I get up and am hunched over and my left knee won't straighten out all the way. It feels like the muscle behind m knee is pulled tight. They videotaped everyone dancing and they had the camera on me a few times. I can just imagine what I looked like after a few drinks. It is a beautiful morning. It has been rather warm for days now and I love it! I think it was 68 degrees yesterday! It feels like Spring already. It might be short lived but I will enjoy it while it lasts. I had a lot of fun over the weekend dancing up a storm at a wedding. I am able to walk with less limp today. I can not believe that dancing can cause that much pain afterwards. Apparently my brain still thinks I am young and my body knows I am not! Tonight is our parent class and I am looking forward to it. They have such good advise with dealing with strong willed teens. I can say that Anthony is really trying to improve. A Fair Balance?
Things are going good for me professionally. I just picked up 4 contract jobs, and it looks like at the end of the month I will be opening the store for my business. Everything is falling into place there. However, I am going to be making good money, but what good is money if you don't have someone to spend it on? Ingredients 20 Murray® Sugar Free Oatmeal cookies 2 tablespoons flaked coconut 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 3 tablespoons light margarine, melted 2 3/4 cups cold fat-free milk 1/2 teaspoon coconut extract (optional) 2 packages (4-serving size) vanilla flavor sugar-free, fat-free instant pudding & pie filling 1 large banana 1 1/2 cups frozen fat-free non-dairy whipped topping, thawed Directions 1. Finely crush cookies. In small bowl combine cookies, coconut and cinnamon. Add margarine. Toss to coat. Press on bottom and sides of 9-inch pie plate lightly coated with nonstick cooking spray. Bake at 350°F for 8 minutes. Cool completely. 2. In large bowl combine milk and coconut extract, if desired. Add pudding mix. Beat with wire whisk about 2 minutes or until thickened. Good morning. I have been watching the news and they are talking about a major storm coming! They are talking winds of 50 mph and rain and snow. They say expect power outages all over and to prepare for it. I guess it is going to hit us this afternoon and go through tomorrow afternoon? I hope we don't lose power like the last time. That was not any fun at all. Peter and I went out to dinner last night. We were surprised to see a new menu and found out that it was a new owner. The restaurant is the best one in the city and has always had really good food. Now it has an Asian flare to the food and they have a wonderful new chef as well. They bought the restaurant back in November but kept the old menu through the holidays as to gradually let customers get used to the fact that there was a new owner.
