Bouncer: Good Or Bad?
Today I was leaving messages on friends pages when the bouncer was showing up every 3 times then it got to the point it was everytime I tried to go to a page or leave a comment... Does it have to be everytime? Don't Judge Me
Why is it that when people find out that I am a single mom and I am only 23 they start to pass judgement on me? On May 17, 2007, a dear friend of mine died of Lung Cancer. I did not learn of her passing until many months later nor did I even know she had been sick. We had drifted apart in life, as friends sometimes do. It had always been my intention to reunite...but as it often happens...life gets in the way. My Thoughts On God
You know someone told me that they believe in GOD. Ok that is their right. Someone once told me there is no GOD. Ok that is their right. Why Not
Every time I think I find this great guy, I am proven wrong! This one just seemed so good, but it turns out that he has some pretty awful habits. When will it be my turn to be happy? Sophie's Birthday
It was my daughter Sophie's 1st birthday yesterday - I'd organised a party for her, a few friends, 2 of 'em had children too, plus my mum and boyfriend. well since the darling dr's in florida didn't want to do anything, My husband John AKA Bull, took me to UAB in Birmingham Alabama, and wouldn't ya know it, they can help with this tumor i have in the left side of my brain. So out on the truck i went, since hubby's company was willing to get me there, i took the chance, so far after birmingham, been up north twice, and now were on our way back to Florida, for a few weeks cause i need to return to alabama on the 4th. Letting Go
I have been contemplating letting of of fear and living in the moment. This past April I traveled alone across the United States, through the Yukon and into Alaska in a brand new company van and believed that I had conquered alot of my fears. I traveled across icy mountain passes in a snow storm. My body was so tense I thought it would crack into pieces, my hands turning white, tightly gripping the steering wheel. I love Fubar it's a great place to come chat, and all that, but there are some people on here that make me laugh. for instance I seen a status change on a friend of mine's profile asking someone else why he blocked her without chance to reply! from what I was told by my friend she had rated him already before, he doesn't even return the favor of rating her back, she later returns to his profile not remembering who's she has rated already, because she likes to rate and help out friends. Well she realizes she can't rate him again so early so she ends up leaving him. so I figure from what it looks like on his screen that she just visits him and does nothing. Have you ever taken someone in that you considered family and tried to help them out? Did everything you possibly could to help them.....feed them, roof over their head, give them spending money, and treat them like they were blood only for them to turn around and stab you in the back? This person has tried over and over again numerous times to try and destroy my family.....basically turning my life upside down. Me
Well my three year old will continue with his education for the rest of the school year and next year in preschool. He is officially developmentally delayed in the speech department. That kinda makes me feel like i've failed as his mom on that part, but i know he will catch up fast with professionals help. It took him a long time to start talking, but now he picks up words left and right so i know he will be okay. I have homework i should be doing right now, but im not so interested in doing it right now. Work sucked, but when doesnt it. Well, today is my oldest's third birthday! He started school almost a month ago and he is loving it. We have to go to a meeting today to see if they want him to stay in school due to his slow speech skills and continue to receive speech therapy or if he has learned enough and no longer needs help learning how to talk and i can wait another year to enter him in school like i wanted to.
