Summer Dreaming!
Well here it is..the last day of January in cold ass Pennsylvania! We've been lucky so far with a pretty mild winter, but still I can't wait for it to be over. I think i must have seasonal depression. Everything just looks like a headache outside...no leaves..no green..just gray and funky. I live in such a beautiful place when it's in bloom! So to get me through the remaining weeks I've started planning my summer! I think my kids are going to the camp run by our school district. It's super afordable only like $80/child for 5 days a week for 6 weeks! That such a good deal. It goes from 8:30 am - 11:30..! My friend Josie's kids are going too so we can take turns driving! Our pool opens at noon..so it works out great! I can't wait for the lazy days at the pool! To just lay there in the hot sun...I love it! After just a short time on CT I am noticing an interesting trend.... I have spent much of my time thus far just browsing profiles and looking for interesting people to talk to online and who knows, possibly become real friends with one day. I think I'm a little hard on some people though. I have met a lot of people through the internet, when I say a lot, I mean well over 50 and in several Countries, and let me tell you, there are some shady folks out there. I feel like a sleazy weirdo being a fan of strange women, that I don't actually know. Ha. Well well well.......racked (moved) my fermenting beer to the secondary fermenter. Has a good amber ale taste. My hydrometer reading is at about 1.015......This is a good thing. Means the sugar is being converted into alcohol. I Am Really Sick
Just wanted to let you all know that I am not going to be on this too much. For a little while anyways. I have been really sick the last few days and between going back and forth to hospital and taking lots of meds I don't have the time or energy to be on. So, Todays just been the day from hell, I should of been smart and just stayed in bed and not answered my phone. So long story short, My gramma died :( , Now i am trying to figure out how i am going to get airfare for my family in ohio to get out to phoenix for the funeral, I dont see it happenind i need 3 kids tickets and 2 adult tickets from cleveland to phoenix, I am lucky because Josh & I are within driving distance so we can be there in less then 6 hrs. But still for me i have the issue of a hotel for 3 days, but i'll swing it no problem.My prob is now is getting the family home, I am trying to get a loan through my bank but its not going to happen because i have bad credit and my parents have to many loans out to get another. UGHHH !!!!. Ive been bawling my eyes out for a while now, and it just hit me and i think im just in a state of shock. I feel numb and cold. Im so sad. Blah. Behind Blue Eyes Thought I would write a quick blog. In less than a month I turn 29 years old. The year went by so quickly. To be honest thinking about it has me a bit depressed. This will be the second year in a row that I havent gotten to spend my birthday with my best friend Linda. Also I look at it and wish it is on a day other than bloody Sunday so I can actually go to the bar and have fun. I may celeberate it all weekend though. Is anyone real about their feelings anymore?? Does saying "I love you" mean anything to people anymore....or is it just something that's loosely thrown around??? I can honestly say....if I tell someone I love them....I mean it. The Sun Is Shinin' But My World Is Dark...
I'm sure some of you will laugh at my tenderheartedness but if you know me, you know how I am. My oldest son Patrick moved out yesterday into his and Kathryn's brand new apartment. They are getting married next month and I couldn't be happier but I miss my baby soooooooo much. I am confident that he has grown into a mature wonderful young man and will make a great husband for Kathryn no doubt. I like to feel I raised him right but still....this is the hardest thing I have ever dealt with in my life.
