Hit-and-run Drivers
What motivates a hit-and-run driver? Somebody knocked my brother-in-law Todd Sayre off his motorcycle early yesterday morning and, in my wife's words, "left him lying in a ditch like roadkill." He's gone -- his organs will soon be enroute to saving several other lives. Not that it would've mattered much, based on what I've heard about evidence of the impact, but what kind of person can't be bothered to stop and make a damned phone call????? How hard is it to find a phone and dial 911? How do I help my wife through the senseless loss of her baby brother? How do I deal with my own anger at this (for now) nameless, faceless piece of human offal? By what twisted piece of reasoning is this behavior OK?

Well I'm happy to report the my weekend went well. The three-ring circus of family and furniture and more family is over. Friday my in-laws came up from Southern Californa to attend a wedding in Santa Clara. They stopped over to visit and we all went to dinner. Mariko as always was head-over-heels with excitedment to see them. Saturday the new bed arrived, at 10:30 we were outside putting 3 coats of clear finish on the whole bed. Nothing like a Queen Sized, 12 Draw Captains bed to keep you busy. During this we had to tear down and move out the old bed. Managed to vaccum the whole room between beds. Taking the old bed out was a breeze compaired to moving the new bed in. Solid wood is HEAVY. LOL. Before we were done, the bed was about 33-inches tall and we had not even put the topper on the mattress. As 11pm rolled around, we tucked ourselves into our new bed, with new sheets, and new comforter. The one problem I do have is I only stand 5'3" and the top of the mattress

I Rule My Own World
I had to move a whole bunch of my pics to another NSFW folder......someone flagged them as NSFW and I don't believe they are.....so they are moved in there....still open to everyone. The other NSFW folder labled me is closed to everyone except myself....sorry! My Exciting Future!
I've completed all my pre-op requirements & have 18 more pounds to lose & I will have my gastric by-pass surgery & I will begin a new life to a new & healthier me! I'm now walking ALOT..I walk 3 miles most days & I pushe d it a little hard & my right knee is giving me fits but I am doing range of motion exersises & stretches so it is coming along rather quickly.. I had to stop walking for almost 2 weeks to allow it to heal...but I'm going at it again...I use a heart monitor watch that is set to a certain heart rate in which I burn the most fat & calories..this little watch has made my walking alot more valueable to me & my success in losing my weight..This time next year I'm going to be a lean ...mean...fighting machine.. As soon as I get the money saved up ..I'm going to join the kick-boxing gym here in town to further progress myself in getting in better shape..Why am I doing this??? Well 1st & foremost ..I'm doing it for myself.. Secondly..I want to live so I can continue to watch

ILL KEEP DOING THIS TILL THE ISSUE IS FIXED. It seems that lately the censorship on Fubar has gotten out of hand. What we need is either a standard of censorship or no censorship at all. Fubar has been deleting things and not even giving a reason for doing so. This needs to stop. We the users feel that it is getting out of hand. Deleting a mum because someone posts a bad word in a comment is not acceptable. Delete the comment with the inappropriate language instead, or just don’t worry about it. There is a lot worse than using the A-word going on. For example, derogatory and cruel comments left on mumm’s are not even monitored. Why is harassment acceptable and yet your mumm gets deleted because someone else uses inappropriate language. Another problem is Fubar deleting things that point out Fubar’s problems. Whe

The Weekend!
What a great weekend!! I got to relax a little bit and get my thought together. Kind of nice not having the kids for a change. The real fun started at night though. Saturday night we had the Christmas Train pull into our town. It was a 16 car train that has completely decorated with holiday lights. The first four cars they had light up saying the "Candian Pacific holiday train". The next two cars they had santa and his reindeer on and the next car was lite up and had christmas trees on. When the train stopped they opened the box car up and santa jumped out and greeted all the kids. My son went NUTS! Then they had a band (enis)in the box car that played holiday songs. We had around 1000 people standing in the streets dancing with their kids. While the band was playing we started to get those big snow flakes falling from the sky. So here I am in the middle of a street with a thousand people dancing with my son to a christmas train band. I wouldnt have traded it for the world. IT w

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
For those of you that don't know, I suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome. I have been suffering with this since at least May 2006. For those who do not know what this is the definition is:- Carpal tunnel syndrome occurs when the median nerve, which runs from the forearm into the hand, becomes pressed or squeezed at the wrist. The median nerve controls sensations to the palm side of the thumb and fingers (although not the little finger), as well as impulses to some small muscles in the hand that allow the fingers and thumb to move. The carpal tunnel - a narrow, rigid passageway of ligament and bones at the base of the hand ¾ houses the median nerve and tendons. Sometimes, thickening from irritated tendons or other swelling narrows the tunnel and causes the median nerve to be compressed. The result may be pain, weakness, or numbness in the hand and wrist, radiating up the arm. Have you ever wanted something so bad that you would die to have it? For over two years now I have wanted to go into the military. I have tooken the asvab test twice now and havent scored high enough. Missing Child
I'm not sure who all sees this blog, but just in case it goes to the whole site, especially people in michigan and indiana. A amber alert was put out this morning for a missing boy from muskegon. He is seven years old with blond hair and blue eyes. He was last seen around 4 p.m. walking home from school wearing a black shirt and tan shorts, with gray nike shoes. This really hits close to home for me as i have two girls that go to the same school, and we live only 2 blocks from where this happened. Now i will be walking them to and from school everyday. The police believe he has been kidnapped and could be in extreme danger. Why do we have to live in such a sick world? Our prayers go out to the family, and hope that this child is found safe.
