It has been requested I build a blog on Mobile Uploads. Lets face it more than 80% of Fubar.com members use a Mobile Phone (whether it be a Standard Phone a Smart Phone). Each member uses their phone in a different function (way) that is useful in everyday life (or for those that have Emergencies).

The below content will list the following:

• SetUp Mobile Address on Fubar,
• List Common Errors Phones Give,
• Give Alternatives To Mobile Uploads,
• Change / Delete Mobile Upload Number.

SetUp/Change/Delete Mobile Address on Fubar

First thing you will need to do is locate the Main Page Menu then click My then Settings. Once you are inside the settings scroll down till you see the text that says Mobile Phone and a link that goes to the Set Up page.(Example Image Below of Menu & Mobile Page)

To upload photos from your mobile phone, simply click the link below.

Once you click the link, an email address will be created and you simply email the photos from your phone to that address and they will immediately be posted to your fubar account! You can remove the address at any time if you wish to disable mobile photo uploads.

Once you have clicked the link to have it setup the page will reload and give you a Unique Address. Be sure not to ever give this address to anyone or they'll be able to upload to your account without you knowing. (Ex. Reloaded Page With Unique Address)

Once you have gotten to the reloaded setup page you have successfully setup a mobile address. :)
You can also Change or Delete your mobile upload address by following this manner as well.

Mobile Uploading

Its actually quite simple to upload any image from a mobile device to Fubar.com Below I have created some steps that will show how to successfully upload an image from a Mobile Device.

The device I used was a Motorla Atrix HD (Running Android 4.1 / JellyBean)

Step 1 Click On The Sleep Button. If You Have A Locked Sceen Go Ahead And Unlock The Device For Those That Don't Skip This Step	Step 2 Once You HAve Unlocked Your Device Locate The App That Shows You Your Message
Step 3 Once You Have Located The App Tap On It And Let The App Load	Step 4 When The App Loads It Will Show All The Messages You Have Recieved Now Locate The + Symbol & Click It
Step 5 Once You Have Clicked The + Symbol You Will Now Be Redirected To A New Message Screen Now You Can Add A Contact Or A Recipient	Step 6 After You Have Added A Recipient Locate The Little Clip Image Or Click Add Attachment
Step 7 Once Clicked The Little Clip Image Or Click Add Attachment A Box Will Pop Up That Will Give You Options	Step 8 Once You Have Choosen An Option You Will Either Be Directed To Your Camera Or To Your Existing Image Location Letting You Choose The Folder
Step 9 After You Have Either Taken A New Photo Or Have Choosen A New Image You May Be Asked To Resize The Image To Send As A Multi-Media Service Message (Or MMS For Short)	Step 10 The Image You Have Now Either Taken From Your Camera Or From An Existing Folder Will Now Be Placed In The Message

Once The Image Has Been Attahced All You Have To Do Now Is Send The Image & Look For It In Your Fubar Images

Common Errors Phones Give

Phones do give errors during certain periods (whether it be day or night). Each error always has a solution (whether it be admissive or submissive).

The most common errors are:

• Upload Failed, Try Again Later - Upload has failed to send due to an internal error,
• Image To Large To Transfer - The largest an image can be is 2MB in size, any larger requires a pc-to-phone connection,
• Type Error Has Occurred - There is to much to send or an internal function has malfunctioned,
• Server Down, Try Again Later - The webiste may be down or the phone doesn't carry the necessary service to upload images.

I could go on and on with errors phones give but that would be off subject. Most errors can be fixed admissively (by the user) and is relatively easy to fix, but there are some errors that are submissive and required either a technician or the service requires a fix from the "Mobile Carrier's" side.

Mobile Upload Alternatives

There are many different alternatives to uploading mobile imagesand I will try to explain the two most common alternatives. Thus being said the two most common alternatives to uploading a photo from a mobile phone is:

• Emailing The Photo Via The Phone,
• Emailing The Photo Then Uploading It Via Fubar.com

I will provide examples to each alternative once I have them written

Emailing The Photo Via Mobile:

• If your phone does not accept the given unique upload address simply send that photo to your email address (whether it be AOL, Yahoo! Mail, GMAIL" or any mail server in which you use). Once that photo has hit the email account simply save it to your computer. Once it has been saved go back into your email account and click on the Compose Message button and add your unique address in the TO box then click the Clip looking button (usually marked Add Attachment(s)) and search for that same downloaded image and click open. All that has to be done now is to click the SEND button and the image will upload that way. (I have included some steps on uploading images to your email then uploading them to Fubar.com below

Emailing The Photo Then Uploading It Via Fubar.com

• The other alternative works in the same manner but instead of emailing the photo from your email account you can choose to have the same downloaded image added to Fubar.com via the Site Multi-Uploader or Single Uploader.
• Follow Steps A-G below to upload photos via the Fubar.com Uploader

Many Members ask "What fonts can I use on Fubar?" & "How can I add them to my profile??"

The Answer: The fonts that Fubar uses is simply on your computer already. You probably scratching your head saying, "If they are on my computer how can I use them?"

Below will be the font facings that are listed on any computer that you or other have access to. These fonts can be found by clicking the Start(Window) icon then click on Computer. When the explorer window opens click on the main drive Usually it'll be the C:/ drive. When the explorer reloads (for Windows Members click the Windows folder). When the explorer again reloads click on the Fonts folder and the fonts listed are what can be used on Fubar.com.
Please Note: Some Fonts are hidden due to them not being used or for a different set language.

Adding fonts to fubar requires you to use HTML coding (Examples Below)

The information provided in this blog is not new information, but it will hopefully shed some light on what Bouncers expect when determining whether or not to Approve/Reject a potential salute photo.

The main goals for the making of this blog is:

• To put together a picture that says you are who you say you are,
• To Educate members so they know the proper procedures before submitting a photo,
• To Enlighten members on the differences between a Normal Photo and a Photo that is photoshopped (Created/Edited by a Program).

In lieu of your Fubar ID, you may use your custom URL if you have one set (for example, mine is http://www.fubar.com/charl17171).

Please Note: The First salute image you do will need to be on paper. Once your first salute is approved the rest of the salutes you wish to upload does not necessarily have to be on paper (provided the image and text are visible). Approved salute photos have had the sign information written on the member's hands, forehead, and even on a pane of glass.

What are some things that might get my salute submission rejected?

Signs Added After-The-Fact: Bouncers can usually tell if someone has run a photo or salute image through a program (ie. Photoshop, Paintshop,etc...) or has been superimposed as a post-it note onto an existing photo and run it through a computer printer or scanner. It's been done. Don't do it. Animated Salutes: While images that move or slide is somewhat wickedly awesome, it is relatively easier to fake an animated image than it would be with a static image. Photos Featuring More Than One Person: Fubar Members are allowed 1 joint account (unless you choose to have seperate accounts). If using a joijnt account said member will need to upload a salute image of one person. Once that salute is approved the member can then upload another salute of a different person as long as they add that the account is jointly connected. If any questions about the identity of a fake account or salute photo will be rejected. Obscured Faces: Bouncers will occasionally see salute submissions where the sign is covering up most of the member's face. This defeats the purpose of showing that you are real. In retrospect if more than 25% of your face is covered, Bouncers will reject that submission and in some cases flag it. Bouncers will also reject salutes where the member is wearing sunglasses or any type of eye/bodywear that hides or obscures ones identity. Sideway Submissions: Bouncers will occasionally see salute submissions where the members face is left sideways or right sideways. Just know that all salute images that are submitted must be upright and must never be sideways or upside down in any manner. Any salute submission submitted in this fashion will be rejected with a note from the rejecting bouncer stating the steps to remedy the issue for a proper salute submission. Salutes Without A Handwritten Sign: Although this basic concept is implied by the numbered list above, many people submit salutes without that sign, thinking a Fubar T-Shirt or a picture of their Fubar.com Home Page is enough. It isn't - they are only complementary additions to your salute. The sign is still required. In addition, the sign must be in your handwriting. Don't print out a document from your word processor, showing off your fancy fonts. New Salutes With CherryTAP or LostCherry Instead Of Fubar On The Sign: Yes, some salutes will say the former names of this website. If you already have one up, and it was approved when we were still LostCherry or CherryTAP, you don't need to take it down - it is still valid. Be aware that we will not accept any new salute submissions without the word "Fubar" on it. Submissions That Are In A Private Folder: Any salutes that are submitted and in a private album will automatically be rejected. We submissions are approved they will automatically be set for public viewing. Other members should be able to preview the up-close-and-personal salute photo. NSFW Images On Submissions: If the photo could not be shown in a public place, then Bouncers will automatically reject it. To find out more about what is NSFW (Not Safe For Work) and What is SFW (Safe For Work) click think link entitled : "(How To) Displaying Content." Content-Modified Photos: Unless you want your submission to be automatically rejected do not run it through a software program (ex. Painshop, Photoshop, etx...) to "spice it up" or "airbrush stuff out." This subtracts from the authenticity factor of your submission and in turn will get the submission rejected and possibled uploaded to the "Hall Of Fu-Salute Shame."

If your salute submission is rejected, you should get two messages: one being from Fubar Shop telling you it wasn't approved, and another message from a fubar Bouncer explaining why the submission was rejected and ways to make syre your next submisison is approved.

Please don't submit images that are obviously fake.
If you continually submit fake salutes
you may either have your account terminated or suspended
for submitting fraudelant images.
