In my dream I see myself walking down a long dark hallway. I can hear people talking, children laughing, everyday life all around me. I've become quite a fan of this quaint little theater since Seth Green introduced it to me during a screening of the Coen Brothers films "Barton Fink" and "Miller's Crossing". You never know who will be sitting in the same aisle as you while you watch old favorites that you never thought would see the silver screen again. I recently saw "Reservoir Dogs" with classic trailers and a Tom and Jerry cartoon to boot and thought it was amazing. Life Sucks Right Now
Hello to all my friends on here. Have reached a point in my life where I have no pride left and am having to ask for help. As some of you know either thru my blog or from having talked to me life has really sucked lately. Anyway recently found myself to be homeless with 2 teenagers in tow. We had ended up in the emergency shelter but I was given a random drug test, I was told that I tested positive for meth, anyone that knowa me, knows this too be not true. We were licked out of the shelter that day and ended up staying in a motel with my kids, not fun. Well my Aunt and a family friend came up with the deposit and the rent for til the end of the month. I have to come up $460 for next months rent and utilities. As I am between jobs and my health is not that great, find myself coming to you for help. We do make mistakes in relationships and sometimes that mistake is breaking things off, rather than working things through. If both currently have the desire to be together going forward, then there's a chance. You have to do it. Otherwise you'll just be regretting it for the rest of your life. Try, maybe fail, but don't NOT try. If you feel bad, sad, and hurt after you were the one who broke up the relationship means, you are still in love. It means, you made a mistake. Usually, when you break up with someone, it shouldn't hurt that much because you were the one who did it. You had all the time to prepare for it, and also mentally set. You weren't the one who was surprised. You are suppose to feel better after the break up. Just Some Reassurance Needed
Ok so I am sure most have seen the pics I posted about my trip to the ER in August. I did that not for pitty but as a public reminder to myself that I cant deny health issues and think that will make them go away. I went to my Heart Dr. yesterday as a follow up from the ER visit I have elected to have this surgery as a cure for my "not all uncommon heart issue" On October 28 this year I will be having surgery to burn the extra wiring in my heart that causes me to pass out have tightness in my chest and in August led me to stop breathing for a short while. I am confident that the Dr. that is doing the surgery is very informed just a bit scared and nervous of the "worst case scenarios such as ending up with a pacemaker or bleeding in my brain that will cause a stroke. Should I at 34 with two small children be too concerned or is it good that I also decided to start going back to the gym to hopefully give my heart a some much needed cardio I am sure all will end up ok I

Going To The Marines

I've watched people die over the past 15 years...It's just one of those things that go along with my job...Death is different for each person...Not one passes the same way...You learn to understand...that death for some is a blessing... Many months ago I met one of the most wonderful and exciting people I have ever known. Immediately we were into each other but both very cautious. Her name is Stacy. Sometimes the most unexpected things are the greatest things! I mean really he was so unexpected i was at the hardest part of my life and yet there he was! He was there when he shouldnt of been.. My Daughter
Well My Daughter is safely back in Honduras. I took her to Houston this morning for her flight back. That was a long stressful trip. The hardest part was saying goodbye. Stephanie leaving still has me pretty much bummed out. But still it was an amazing trip. Even though this is the first time I have seen my daughter in almost 21 years. Even though we have been talking by e-mail, messenger and by phone, everyone knows that isn't the same. but we just clicked. it was like we had been together everyday of her life. I am very blessed to have a bond like this with my daughter. I know many aren't that lucky, and I wish I could have a bond like this with my son. For my daughter it was quite an adventure, comming in ahead of huricane Gustav. So that kept us indoors for a few days watching tv and talking. Got her hooked on a couple of my shows. Sharing music and stuff like that. We did the tourist thing, took her to jefferson, did shopping there, saw a lot of kool museums.

The boys dad leaves for boot camp this week. He is off is antidepressants and trying to cope which means he is babbling endlesslys about everything, we are not together as a couple but we have known each other pretty much our whole lives and since we share parental responsibilities he tends to once in a while still lean on me for moral support, Bless HIS heart, however I am dealing with two houses that i have to condense into one little one, taking the boys fulltime which is a joy but I know alot of extra time and work which is ok but a lil scary when your used to having dad just around the corner if u need him in a pinch. my job which has been alot busier than usual and this is kinda my first real day off from having to do any work in a couple of weeks, the aftermath of kicking the BF to the curb which has left me so shell shocked I will probably become a hermit with my kids for an indefinite period. Eeeek! I'm down to only one more pack of cigarettes. I'm already trying to come up with rationalizations of why one more pack won't hurt me. I've yet to break the seal on that final pack yet. I have a carton of Marlboro Light 100 cigarettes on the kitchen counter. The plan - such as it is - is to finish that carton and then go cold turkey. Perhaps about a week to finish them up. What A Weekend.
Let me set the stage for you. 0630 friday morning, I wake up in agonizing pain. I figure it's my back I deal with back pain on a daily basis. It doesn't go away, I go to the doctors office. They send me to radiology to do an ultrasound of my upper GI. Turns out I have a huge gall stone in my gallbladder and have to go in for emergency surgery. So him and I went to court today and he dropped it. For those of you who dont know he had an injunction on me...Long story for another blog. I haven't done a real blog in quite awhile and ran across an email that reminded me I was past due for one. I am pretty sure everyone has seen the email that I am sharing, as I had already seen it several times, but the meaning of it is something that always needs to be reminded. I woke up this morning and ran through my morning routine in a quick state, trying not to be late... hugged my kids and took them to school, drove to work, blah blah, you all know the routines... but did I really get anything out of it? Did I pause to appreciate my kids, to make sure they FELT my love? We live in a fast paced world, that gets faster everyday. More On My Daughter
Well you read about my daughter. It was a really great trip. The thing was that was the first time we have seen each other since she was a baby. Even though we have been talking on the phone, e-mails and chatting online, you would expect that first meeting after so many years to be akward. but it wasn't we clicked, It was fantastic. It was like we had been together almost every day of her life. That was really amazing, I wasn't expecting that, but sure glad it worked out that way. The guilt I have felt all those years for not being in my kids lives was gone for a while (I know it wasn't my fault I wasn't in their lives but I felt guilty all the same). Now here is the problem. Since she has left I feel a bit depressed still. The guilt is back, I expected that for a day or so, but now it has been over 3 days. I just want to sleep all the time.
