This random thoughts section has also become my rants section.
When I first started here, I was overwhelmed with all the drama that went on with people bitching about each other on the bully's I turned it off. I was like I didn't want to see this crap. Eventually I turned it back on. It was fun for a while. I posted things for people, re-posted things for people, helped people out, even hosted a couple of things of my own. I helped people level I rated their stuff I blinged them and didn't ask for anything in return. There were a couple of kind and great full people who understood people like myself who did things for no reason other than just because they wanted to. Those same people, (I can count on less fingers on one hand) showed their appreciation by promoting me on their own without request, which was phenomenal and heart felt. Those same people I would do anything for for they are true to who they are and do things without expectations.
So, in having said all that and knowing the nature of this site where it is all about the points and popularity why was I disappointed with the lack of support and participation from friends and family in achieving a simple goal to see how close I can get to Disciple by my 1 yr anniversary? I started the bully Aug 19 with 5.3 mil and today Sep. 2nd, 13days later, still haven't even broken 5Mil. Yet, when I made a bully pimping out various different women that got lots of reposting.
Whatever.. I see now who's causes are worthy of support and whose aren't.
Secondly, what's up with the content of these bully's. "Support our troops" Auction. When I looked in to this, I had expected service members themselves placing themselves on the auction block, but found that it was actually "1" Service man "hosting" an auction and the entrants were civilians. How is this supporting the troops? There was also a bully today I read that had the title "Should I delete friends since none cares?", upon reading it, it was someone that wanted donations for spotlight. Somewhere in the bully it said something about waiting to see who donates. I'm thinking wow, what an ultimatum, waiting to see if you are going to delete someone from you friends list depending on if they donate to your spotlight fund. I wouldn't want you as a friend anyway. Oh, BTW, thank god I wasn't a friend, it was just a re-post of someone that was..
Anyway.. that's my rant of the day..
