Forgotten Fights
I had a blog idea. I came to post it and then a friend commented on another blog. Guess what....I forgot what I was going to blog about.. This happens a lot. I'm not sure if I'm just a forgetful person or if I have A.D.D. Who knows. At this point in my life I'm not sure it's really all that important. Good news though, after a few seconds of thinking I remembered what I was going to blog about. It's not really a lengthly blog, it's only a question. (yes I know it's turned into something a little longer than I'd planned.) Why do people say "Fight like a Girl" when they support breat cancer? Men can get it too. Plus why not just fight it. No need to be like a girl or a guy. Kind of ticks me off. No I'm not going to be all bitchy about it or anything. I'm just wondering.

I Decided Back on March 24th that I wasn't happy living within the shell I was carrying around with me. Busting/rolling out of a Size 14, With way more than a MUFFIN top, more like a bunt cake! I was going to CHANGE, Starting with a calorie counting, drinking more water & green tea, and adding some calorie burning. I took out my Smart phone, downloaded the "LOSE IT" app, added my weight, height, age, and my goal weight. started walking 3 miles a day, eating under 1,300 calories a day. I also added a step counter accupedo, put a goal of 10,000 steps a day which I fell short of at first. I took Photo's, even though I hated my reflection looking back at me. Pushing 180, with a goal of 150 in site. I started walking my route twice a day. Weighing ounces and counting every calorie became a game to me. USA Today in its 3/10/03 edition had a large article on two Cowboy Churches in Texas. They printed the Cowboy's Ten Commandments posted on the wall at Cross Trails Church in Fairlie, Texas. Purina Diet
PURINA DIET I was in Wal-Mart buying a large bag of Purina for my Labrador Retriever and was in line to check out. A woman behind me asked if I had a dog. On impulse, I told her that no, I was starting The Purina Diet again, although I probably shouldn't because I'd ended up in the hospital last time, but that I'd lost 50 pounds before I awakened in an intensive care ward with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IVs in both arms. Barbecued Chicken Wings
1 1/2 pounds chicken wings 1 teaspoon salt 1/4 cup chopped lemon grass 8 cloves garlic -- chopped 1/2 teaspoon white pepper 1/4 cup minced cilantro root or coriander root 1 teaspoon turmeric This barbecue recipe is popular with street vendors. Combine the ingredients for the marinade in a blender. Rinse chicken wings in cold water. Place the chicken wings into a Ziploc bag with the marinade and leave in the refrigerator overnight. Barbecue the wings over medium hot coals for 5-7 minutes on each side (turning once, half way through) until they are cooked through and golden brown.

Chicken Enchiladas + Tortilla Soup
3 chicken breasts 2 cups chicken broth 1 can Rotel tomatoes corn tortillas chopped onions shredded chedar cheese 1 2/3 cup chicken broth 1/3 cup sour cream 1/4 cup flour 1 small can green chillis Cook chicken in broth and rotel until you can easily shred it with a fork Prepare tortillas by quick dipping in warm oil and draining in paper towel. Fill each tortilla will chicken, a sprinkl eof onions and chesse. Roll and place in oven proof pan. To prepare sauce, combine the broth, sourcream, flour and chilis and bring to a boil. Pour over rolled tortillas. Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. You can make awesome tortilla soup from the liquid used to cook the chicken by adding left over shredded chicken, baked tortilla strips and diced avocado.

Baked Spaghett
2 lg. cans Manwich sauce 1 box Angel Hair spaghetti noodles 3 c. (1 lb. bag) Mozzarella cheese, shredded 1 lb. hamburger meat 1 tsp. garlic SALT Salt and pepper to taste (watch salt amount since garlic is salty) Brown hamburger meat with garlic salt, pepper, and salt. Drain off grease. Add Manwich sauce to meat and simmer for 10 minutes while boiling noodles (follow directions on box for cooking noodles). Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In oblong casserole baking dish spread a thin layer of hamburger sauce, then a layer of noodles, layer of sauce, layer of noodles, layer of sauce; top with the shredded cheese. Bake until cheese melts and brown (if desired).

Things In The Miltary.
I want to start off by saying thank you to all on here who support us for doing a thankless job day in day out. I mean yes I get to see the world and do things some people can't, but it comes with a cost of long hours, some times working a full 24 hours before u see a bed or drink a beer or 2. 1/2 pound corkscrew noodles 1 pound ground meat 1 cup onion, chopped 1 small bell pepper, chopped 28 oz. tomatoes 6 oz. tomato paste 4 oz. can mushrooms 1 Tsp. salt 1/2 Tsp. basil 1/2 Tsp. oregano 1/4 Tsp garlic powder 1/4 Tsp. red pepper 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese Parmesan cheese Cook and drain noodles. True Happiness

I am one week into my decision to go 30 days without drinking. Please don't ask why I made that choice because I personally have no idea. Spanish Natillas Recipe
Basic ingredients * 8 egg yolks * 1 litre milk * 200 gr. sugar * 1 dessert spoon cornflour * 1 stick of cinammon * Powdered cinammon Steps: 1. Put the milk in a saucepan with the cinammon stick and heat. Save a small glass of cold milk. 2. Beat the egg yolks with the sugar. Dissolve the cornflour in the cold milk, stir well and then add to the eggs and sugar. 3. When the milk is starting to boil, remove the cinammon stick and add the mixture of flour, milk, eggs and sugar. Stir well over the heat until the custard thickens. Don't boil. 4. Put the natillas into individual bowls or dessert glasses. Sprinkle with a little cinammon powder.

Basic ingredients * 100g vegetable margarine * 155g brown sugar * 2 ripe bananas * 2 tbsp milk * 2 large eggs * 225g self raising flour * 1 tsp baking powder * 50g chopped walnuts (optional) Steps: 1. Peel and mash the bananas 2. Cream the margarine and sugar together until you get a light mixture add the mashed bananas and mix in well 3. Add the eggs to the mixture and beat all ingredients together for 3 mins 4. Add the sifted flour, tsp of baking powder and milk - add the walnuts if using - mix together 5. Place in a greased loaf tin and bake for 50 mins in a preheated oven (180 degrees) - check with a fork to see if the cake is ready if the fork comes out sticky leave for 5 - 10 mins longer 6. Another Late Night
I know I really should be sleeping, but I am wide awake. Thoughts of my sweet baby ravaging my mind. The longing to be with him grows stronger and stronger with every breath I take. Beef And Rice Enchiladas
1 pound ground round 1 medium onion, chopped 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper 1 tablespoon minced garlic 1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste 3/4 cup water 1 cup cooked white rice 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided) 1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme 1/2 teaspoon fennel seed 1 teaspoon garlic salt 1 tablespoon chili powder 12 flour tortillas (about 10-inches) warmed 8 ounces picante sauce or salsa 1 can (about 10 ounces) enchilada sauce In large saute pan, cook ground round, onion, bell pepper and garlic until meat is thoroughly cooked. Remove from heat and drain excess liquid. Add tomato paste, water, rice, 2 cups cheese, picante sauce and seasonings. Cook over low heat until mixture is thickened, about 10 minutes. Tortilla De Patatas (potato Omelet)
1/2 pound Mexican longaniza, casings removed (see Note) 5 medium-size russet potatoes 1 large onion, chopped Salt Extra virgin light olive oil 5 eggs Cut sausage into small pieces and cook in a skillet over low heat for 25 minutes. Drain and set aside. Peel potatoes and cut each into 6 lengthwise wedges. Slice each wedge crosswise into thin triangles. Combine potatoes and onion, season with salt and toss to combine. Heat 1/2 inch of olive oil in a medium-size skillet over medium heat. (Don't cut down on amount of oil; use enough to completely cover potatoes.) 1 lb. skirt steak or flank steak Marinade: 1/2 C. soy sauce 1 C. pineapple juice 1 T. ground cumin 1 t. garlic minced 1/8 C. lime juice freshly squeezed Cut the steak into thin strips. Ingredients: 1 envelope unflavored gelatin 2 T cold water 8 ounces good quality white chocolate (you can usually find this in the baking section of your grocery. Or, even better, use a really great white chocolate such as Ghirardelli). 3 cups whipping cream 3 T sugar 2 t almond extract Fresh mint sprigs for garnish Preparation: Put gelatin powder and cold water in a small dish and let sit for 10 minutes to soften. Simply Shrimp Fried Rice
1-1/2 cups rice, cooked 20-25 small shrimp 1 onion 1 red pepper 1 egg 3/4 cup peas 1 clove garlic, minced 1/4 cup soy sauce butter or oil Cook rice as directed, approximately 1-1/2 cups. In a medium-sized frying pan, sauté 1 small chopped onion, 1 red chopped pepper, and 3/4 cup frozen peas in butter or oil. Set aside. Next, sauté 20-25 small shrimp with 1 large clove of garlic in butter or oil. When lightly brown, add vegetable mixture. After just a couple of minutes, add frying pan mixture to rice pot. Quickly scramble 1 egg and add to pot as well. Add 1/4 cup of soy sauce, using judgement and preference, of course. Stir, simmer for a few minutes and enjoy.

1 pkg Jimmy Dean sausage( any flavor) 1 pound hamburger 1 small box Velveeta cheese 1 loaf party bread ( sourdough, rye, or pumpernickel) Fry your sausage&hamburger till its done then drain. Then add it back to the fry pan and add your veleveeta cheese, a little at a time, just kepp mixing it until it all comes together. This usually takes about 15-20 minutes. Then spread your little party breads out on a cookie sheet, spoon a little bit of the sausage/hamburger/cheese mixture onto each one, and then you want to bake these under the broiler just until they reach a light brown color. These are a favorite with my family, they always go so fast. These are a favorite for games whether it be for baseball, basketball, hockey, football , or whatever!!! They are so quick and easy!!

Learned Some New Shit 'bout My M0m...
Just the other day, my mom found this stack of old photos of me and my brother Jordan (20) and my sister Alex, (23). In one of the pictures my JOrdan was maybe 3 months old. My mom said something about being in a rehab (I know I may have spelled it wrong) I asked her why she was in rehab (like I said, I can't spell it!) she said that she was an acholic and that she had eating disorders and she wasn't doing drugs at the time, but was adictted to them. It Is True...
I am not one hot on pride since I am male and used to being called a dog...;) But I have joined a few sites online such as myspace and myyearbook and some not evenworth mentioning. Lighthouse Rededication
Today ..In Groton Connecticut was the rededication celebration of the Avery Point Lighthouse.. With time .. the weather .. and the seas .. many thought it had seen its better days.. but with the help of many .. This evening at 6:45 .. the Light house was Relit .. This Bites.
I talked to my real mom today. After i havent in a pretty long time. She's sick. Which i feel bad for her yeah. Well we have been home for a couple of days and everything is going great. The baby has settled in and is doing great. Aidan has taken on the role of big brother like a champ. He tells everyone that it is "his" baby and he always makes sure to go and check on her at least two times each time she is sleeping. He has held her a few times and done wonderfully. I have my two angels who make up my world now and I am loving every minute of it. With all of the excitement of my new baby being here, my mind still finds the chance to revert back to my best friend. I can't help but miss him. He hasn't had a chance I guess to come and see us yet and I can't wait till he does. I am excited to see what he thinks of the new addition. But it's like I said earlier...I can't help but miss him and want him around. But I guess all good things come to those who learn to wait!!! My son and daughter is a perfect example of that!

6-13-06 Current mood: sick Ok.. hello Tuesday. Ringmasters girlfriend works for me at my store. We had a good time and at one point am-3 was there. She was begging for attention. But I try to keep what I do out of my business hours. After hours anything goes. Well I decided to give the book reading a try ..again. But no luck. I got to the chill spot and it was covered up. Ringmaster called just after I sat down and said he would be there in a few mins. There were 3 average girls and one above average on my left. I had just made an opening commenting on her shoes. (black and pink vans) i myself wear vans ..a black and white on one foot and a blue and white one on the other. She smiled and in about 2 mins I could make a move. Ringmaster showed up right before my move and well it was not good for me. Ringmaster had dated one of the other girls and it was a bad break up. So within a minute of him showing up they left. Seems the BBB got a complaint the other day about a scam that AFLAC was taking advantage of women on the street and stealing their money. We thought an INSURANCE Company had stolen from us. However, this scam is netting COLD HARD CASH from unsuspecting individuals. The way it works is the thief uses children to distract the target. While admiring the cuteness of the kids they are robbed of their cash and never know what hit them. I'm sending this out for all to be aware that this is happening and it's right out on the streets where the general public is. Annual Company Meeting
My company actually holds annual meetings. The brass comes down from Corporate office and does some presentations, then you have dinner and get goodies. I actually won a basket with a gift certificate to Home Depot. Why not Best Buys geeez? I got an opportunity to talk to my division manager who I have never met before and was invited to drinks after dinner. That was an interesting and insightful meeting. Ingredients: 2 Tbsp sesame oil 3 cups bean sprouts 2 garlic cloves, minced 2 tsp minced ginger 1 ½ lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 3-inch strips 1 cup fresh snow peas, trimmed ½ cup sliced red pepper 1 Tbsp lite soy sauce 1 Tbsp dry sherry 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice 1 6-oz can bamboo shoots 1 6-oz can water chestnuts, slivered Instructions: 1. On a high temperature, heat 1 Tbsp oil in a wok or pan 2. Add beans sprouts to the oil and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes (make sure they are crispy) 3. Remove the sprouts from the wok or pan 4. Spicy and sweet, these skillet pork chops are served up with a generous pan sauce. Ingredients: 4 boneless pork sirloin chops, 1/2-inch thick 1 teaspoon vegetable oil 1/2 teaspoon paprika 1/2 teaspoon flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves 1 teaspoon prepared mustard 1 1-pound can sliced peaches, drained Instructions: Combine paprika, flour, salt, cinnamon, allspice and cloves. Prep Time:45 min Start to Finish:1 hr Makes:4 servings Fruit 2 cups cut-up assorted fresh fruit (such as cantaloupe, honeydew melon, grapes, papaya and mango) 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro 1 to 2 teaspoons lime juice Spice Rub 4 teaspoons ground nutmeg 4 teaspoons ground cumin 4 teaspoons garlic salt 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne) Pork 1 pork tenderloin (1 1/4 pounds) 1. Saw 3
For anyone who loves horror movies I strongly urge you to go see see SAW 3 it was great it had no scaryness in it really but a whole lot of blood parts that even surpassed the first two belive you'll see what I'm talking about. Shrimp Fritters
INGREDIENTS: * 3 tablespoons butter * 1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined * 4 green onions, finely chopped (include tops) * 1 bell pepper, seeded and finely chopped * 1 small hot or mild chile pepper, seeded and finely chopped * 2 cups mashed potatoes * 2 eggs, beaten * salt and pepper, to taste * 1 cup fine dry bread crumbs * vegetable oil, for deep frying PREPARATION: Melt butter in skillet over medium heat; add the shrimp and cook until pink (2 to 3 minutes depending on size). Remove shrimp from skillet with a slotted spoon, cool slightly, then chop. Set aside.Add the green onions, bell pepper and chile pepper to the butter remaining in the skillet. Saute over medium heat until vegetables are just softened, about 3 minutes. Add mixture to the mashed potatoes and mix well. Stir in the chopped shrimp and beaten eggs. INGREDIENTS: * 2 pounds shrimp, shelled and deveined * 1 medium green pepper, cut into thin strips * 1 bottle ( 8 oz.) Italian style salad dressing * 2 TBL. lemon juice * 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce * 1/4 teaspoon crushed garlic * lettuce cups (optional) or mixed greens * tomato wedges PREPARATION: Bring 4 cups water to a boil. Add shrimp, bring back to boiling; boil, covered, 3 minutes. Drain shrimp; let cool. Toss cooled shrimp with green pepper. Combine Italian dressing, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic. Teens Injured During Dui Car Accident
NEKOMA - Two teenage girls remain in serious condition in intensive care in a Peoria hospital after a one-car accident early Sunday morning near Nekoma. J. Price, 19, was driving eastbound on County Road 200N when he drove through a T intersection, striking a sign and hitting an embankment, sending the car airborne. Holidays Are Coming
well as we all know the holidays are coming so i've been thinking. and well why dont we take the time to write to at least one soldier that is not home with their family just to let them know they are love at the most special time fo the year. what could it hurt and who knows you may find a great friend. so my idea is for all the soldiers to give someone or many their addresses and then to write to them maybe send them a lil something. show those risking their lives for us that we appreciate it! please help me show our troops some love this holiday season.

Yet again we're disappointed to learn that there will be no payday. supposedly the paperwork didn't get there in time. I say Bullshit! the last payday was two weeks ago and was only $400. we've had trouble with HQ before when some incompetent dumbass lost the paperwork & Tex had to come home just to show the idiots his own copies. As much time as he's spent on the road lately he should have a damn good check, BUT, he has to wait for the monkey patrol to YET AGAIN find his paperwork. Was it too much to ask?

One Of My Friends Has Been Shot In Iraq
One of my friends, Ernie, a friend of mine in the Army I knew in Hawaii, got shot in Iraq today... I just found out a few minutes ago... No one knows if he is ok... as of yet. The sad thing is, he fell in love with this girl who cheated on him the moment he left for Iraq, broke up with him and moved away to Texas with the new man in her life. Poor guy has been through enough! Keep our soldiers in your prayers... No matter what your point of view of the war is, please support the troops... Every email, photo, whatever you send them means so much, I learned that when I was deployed to the Arabian gulf when I was in the Navy.... This is him and I at a luau last year in Hawaii...

Mike Crane was much more fond of Halloween in Phoenix, than back home in Chicago. He'd always thought it was somehow a contradiction, to buy a costume, or in some cases spend weeks making one, and then wear a heavy coat over it.
