No offense.... — Wednesday, 25 October 2006
What a phrase that is?
People often say that before offending people. It usually means, I guess, the purpose of me saying this isn't just to offend you, but it probably will coincadently. People who say this often times have a feeling of guilt or wrongness about offending people. I rarely utter those words. " No offense..."
Another one that's funny is " with all due respect.." Well, that sometimes means with no fucking respect at all, because sometimes there isn't really any due. lol. It just gives the illusion to the other person that you may have some for them, or you think some is due. Everything I say, is obviously meant with all due respect. Many a times even all due, means nothin at all. And I'm too honest to create the illusion ( that there is some due respect ) for them.
Other "faviorite" phrases are " Don't you know who I am?!!!!! " " Who do you think you are!!!??" " Just who the fuck do you think you're talking to here? "
Walk in somewhere and just start throwing them around sometime. It'll be fun.
Is heroin whore a " bad word"? there was this kid talking about "requim for a dream"
in psyche today. And he was having trouble comming up with words to descrive what happened to the girl in the movie. I'm not sure if it was a limited vocabulary, or he was afraid of upsetting some kind of balance in class. Afraid of using the wrong words and upsetting people.
