...so anyways, it was nice to get off of here for a few days and enjoy "living my life" and actually do something productive for once, which was long overdue and very muchso needed. It gave me the chance to sit back and think about what has gone on here over the past few months since I started to get rates and become much more active as "myself" on this site instead of being a funny (or however you take him) little white owl. It's funny because the rate war that is a never ending battle on here makes people do funny things and act certain ways, and at the end of the day, their true colors eventually do shine through. Add the "who can pic the best fake default picture" element to that drama and you have well, what amounted to a recipe for disaster. And well, that's pretty much what happend.
Quite honestly, as Orly, I initiated the first "fake default" picture idea to some longtime and former top cherries as a way to attract even more rates and attention drawn to their profiles. Yup, that's right it's really all my fault because I started it here. So the bitter irony of me getting screwed (ie, policy change with three hrs left my spotlight day with a fake picture up, c'mon really) is kind of bittersweet and yeah I did deserve it, it's just a rare and hard pill to swallow when there really is no justifiable response at all to it. Just eat it and move on...kthx...ugh. But oh well it is what it is and you can't win em all...
...then on to the realm of the whole rate monger/fubar gossip train/war thing that goes on with a vast majority of the top cherries/members around here. It's amazing how people can just flip sides, chose to talk to you when they want or only need something and or whatever the case may be. Sometimes you're forced to make decisions that can bring you all kinds of hate, drama or whatever. Sometimes it's better to just sit on the sidelines and watch. Watch as your friends tear each other apart, watch as your friends backstab each other, take sides and repost pimp out bulletins of sworn enimies to people right in your rank and vicinity. It's simply amazing at the sheer volume and intensity as well as the level to which it goes around here. I could drop names and screenshots and rest assured I will at a certain point in time. What people don't realize around here is that there are PEOPLE with FEELINGS behind these profiles and account numbers and for as much as many say that they do not get "emotionally involved," oh so many do...
...then there are the people on here who talk about being 'leaders' and other people as 'followers.' I love reading that. Because you know why? People that ARE true leaders never have to say that they are, their ACTIONS and what they say and how they treat people overall is what MAKES people believe in them and listen to what they say and appreciate who they are based on these things. So drama n00bz, as much as you say that you aren't about drama, you are the worst perpetrators of it around here. Ya need a reality check, kthx. If I walked around here bragging about every change I've helped impliment or person I've helped, you'd all be sick of it by now. The only people and things that truly matter to are each individual relationship (in varying degrees, of course) with the people involved. If you're just a bandwagon , top member jump on the bandwagon climber, you're not a leader at all and have no right to speak of such things...those this applies to are pretty obvious around here....
...So I just dunno. I'm burned out from the lies, from the deciet, from the backstabbing, the scripters, the cheaters, drama n00bs, and the generally bad people overall. Sadly, alot of them have been some of the closest to me on here and it's not going to be easy to treat them this way but I simply have to for my own sanity. For there's something alot more "REAL" and worth it for me and for that I am oh-so-lucky..be damned if anyone self serving or with wicked intentions screws THAT up at any level...I'll just delete myself before that happens...ya-rly.
...so this is what I've done. I'm over it and alot of the people and games involved around here. Sorry to those that may take offense to this in any way, shape or form, but it is what it is and how I feel...no regrets...enjoy the music video and the lyrics are quite relevant ... it's just time to go forward, and hey look, it's a beautiful day outside - I think I'll be....
