Hello kids, hope you had a great Star Wars day and have an excelled Cinco De Mayo tomorrow!
It's been a bit so I just want to touch on a few things before going forward.
First and foremost, this past week we lost an old time member, going back to the Cherry Tap days, Wild Horse.
For those that were close to him and knew him well, he was a kind man with a great sense of humor and good spirit.
It's always sad when a community such as ours loses a quality person with an exponential amount of experience on this site. He was loved on and off the site by many here.
Personally, I didn't interact with him all that much over the years. I don't think he was much of a fan of my shenanigans but truth be told he did tell me one time about someone I was close to and to be wary of him.
I didn't see it then, but time did prove him correct.
I respected that. Goes to show what kind of a person he was and why he was so loved.
So, rest in peace Wild Horse, you will be missed.
I'm not going to overwhelm everyone in this kind of post with anything else.
Just know that I know what you're all saying and seeing about the fakes the AI and I have plans for it.

So we had something new and interesting launched this week:
To make room for this on the tooltip, your level has been moved to a smaller number that matches your current VIP or non VIP color.
The new logo is in the upper right corner, and no, APR does not mean your Fubar interest rate (I saw that yesterday) but "April." So May will be May, etc.
Basically what this means is that it's the point total based off of your activity for the month prior I suppose. And the top people get that cool fire border on their homepage and today, even some of the tooltips had a fire thing around them as well.
I say points because that's what everything in the description entails.
How it's all currently weighted exactly I am not sure (hence the kinda.)
But based on the current leaderboards on the app, they are very distinctly in point rank order:

I don't mind it to be honest. It's something new.
Let's face it and be real for a second, shall we?
The lifetime leaderboards are virtually locked at this point.
I saw someone get almost a quarter a million lifetime rates during a Likefest alone.
Want to do some quick math on that? If you get 1,000 rates a day that will take over 8 months at that total to break even for what one person got in a day.
I looked at mine after the rate glitch right?
1.3 million rates boosted me only from the 260s into the 210s.
What? LoL.
This is for the Lifetimes.
Members for the week vary as always but, it's usually the same people over and over.
They spend the most or have the most spent on them so I mean, there's that.
That used to be my personal favorite part of the game, going back to the beginning.
The Top Scores are at a point where I would have to Google how many decimal places that is.
I mean it's not impossible if you get fluky with a good happy hour or 22 on the perfect bonus days.
But still.
It's a whole bunch.
Fans are harder to get than in the very old days, but it's not impossible although it does require actual effort to communicate.
So the Legends board probably has the most flexibility.
If you push for fans, you could make progress.
Also, they've expanded out the count for the rank there far deeper on the board than just the top 100 like it used to be. That's a good thing.
Crushes?
Won't go there. LoL.
And there's more leaderboards and colors than ever before for different things and everyone loves a good number on their page so those are all good improvements. (remember I've been gone awhile.)
But back to the new thing.
So why?
This is what I think:
There will be future achievements tied to leveling for this.
There has to be.
Also, there's opportunities for more people to get said achievements and gives them some motivation to continue accumulating points and being active even if they've maxed out their level points and need other requirements to level.
We all know someone that has said "I don't need points so..."
This looks like the concept of a remedy for that to give people something else to do and maybe even be more active and stay engaged.
And of course, just like with literally everything else that's been changed or added over the years here, there will be enhancements, add-ons etc.
I like it personally. Will I ever win any of it or be a fire border person?
Probably not.
But that's okay.
So far it's nice to see some new things and even better - newer faces on a leaderboard for a change.
(Disclaimer: Not hating on any one or group of people I am just saying in general as it is a common complaint I hear.)
So that's my take on that.

There's a really dumb fake floating around and more disturbing real things as usual.

This month feels like it never wants to end and it is only the 4th.
A few nice things:
First and foremost I want to thank each and every one of you that has kindly reached out to my wifey who has returned this week via rates, likes, comments and bling etc.

1. There was an archaic rate glitch last week that took effect and was triggered by the recent GMP. It extended additional rates to random people that have been here awhile. I was one of those people. It changed rankings etc. Admin worked to promptly fix it so that should not happen again in the future, so that's a good thing.
But... lol
Apparently some folks had a lot to say about me in my sleep on Thursday morning which is reset day.
It was all handled before I woke up (thankfully because I hate nothing more than to sign in to madness) but lord bless your souls if I catch you.
That's probably a bad idea.

2. Currently chasing around some fake profiles that are of a relatively decent level , their patterns are always the same and this time is no different.
They'll be vanquished soon enough like they always are.
Side note here ladies, if you see one of your friends or family head over heels with a profile with no salute and pictures of like 4 different girls none of which are the same person and there's no salute please let them know.
I know the AI use impacts that judgement but if they have a salute that should be your indicator.
There's literally thousands of real, saluted, attractive females on this site you can talk to or spend money on.
Guys the simple cheat code for Fu-females is this:
Treat them like people, not like objectified meat and you'll get farther than you realize.
No need to chase fakes. It ain't 2007 anymore.
Their petiulant excuses are tired and old.
It's 2025 and we can be better about this.
3. Was alerted yesterday to a convicted sex offender. That always sucks. Working on that. Be careful out there.
4. Also found out recently about an appauling tale about someone who took advantage of someone with a disablity, faked a medical condition and the whole nine yards.
This whole story is so gross I can't even wrap my head around it.

I know everyone is excited for the weekend and everything that goes along with it. I am too, it's been an absolutely crazy year so far.
So what was supposed to be a one day return cameo back in January has now turned into two months of being back..lol.

...and unfortunately we've had some weird shit happen this week because it wouldn't be normal if we didn't.
We had one instance where someone that was running around here and then was excessively rude and vulgar to women, so that's disgusting.
We had another instance where someone from here was actually giving pictures of his own daughter to other members and encouraged them to leave vulgar and sexual comments on it.
The latter I know of was reported and is no longer with us and to be honest good.
Fuck that.
There's no room for anyone to sexualize children on Fu or anywhere else for that matter.
That's like zero tolerance level shit.
If anyone mentions kids or anything like that or if you see something off, please report it to admin.
This is not the culture we have here.
You could change someone's life by saving them from exploitation.
Also no names please.
Anything here like this we just can't do on site like the old days but just be aware of what you see when you're floating around.

So I've been back for a few weeks now and everyone I've interacted with has been pretty cool (still) so that's definitely a net positive.
Of course, as I do, sometimes I look around and certain parts of the bar and find weird things that make no sense to me.
Along that train of thought, I have some observations…
1. Where are all the catfish?
I'm not talking about AI defaults no no, like legitimate holy-hell-I-took-this-pic-from-a-porn-star-or-something but I am not them clearly. There's still some out there but it literally is like an extinction event.
I suppose it's easier to take some free AI and generate a person than run the risk of being caught being well - not who you are. I suppose.
That's actually a positive development.
Let's hope people online in 2025 have finally wised up!
But then that leads to…
2. The actual AI photo use here is absolutely wild.
I can already hear the grumble grumbles out there but let me explain.
Actually I won't. I had a big long nasty diatribe out here about it but I don't think it would have landed correctly.
It's not that deep & the vast majority of people do cute things with it but - you know what I mean.
Just don't be that person using what looks like a Dollar Tree holiday card box as a background with your face plopped on it to rate farm.
Don't sell yourself short!
But if you're going to do that at least make sure your head is proportionate to the body because I have seen some that look like bobbleheads, no joke.
I get why but…why?
That leads into…
3. Are these newer profiles that run things and are just pure fake non saluted AI generated just credit farmers?
For some context, a "credit farmer" is a fake profile that is used to collect credits from unsuspecting victims and then sent them to or buy bling for their main accounts or the accounts of whoever.
So the scam is pretty much to set up NSFW folders and have dudes who think like monkeys send them credits to view and you know the rest.
I saw a level 83 non saluted one this morning, That's…yeah but…
Is that what they are?
That brings me to…
4. Does a higher level even with no salute make a profile "legitimate?"
Always wondered that. And then there's the argument that "people want to remain anonymous."
I suppose? Do you trust it?
5. How are people getting 5 digit re-invites a day, every day?
I literally was on the app, and back and forth for most of the day using them to get reinvites for a future level requirement (that's weird to say for me right?) and got a little over 2,000.
I'm not slow. I may be rusty but I can still do things faster here than most so if it took me all kinds of long to get that many how are people getting 5-15x that amount?
Maybe I am missing a trick but still like… that's bizarre to me. If I am out in left field on this one, by all means let me know.
I am trying something different seems to get more …. maybe that's it? I am good at certain things but -really- bad at fu-level things (clearly.)

6. What happened to the MuMms?
Did they get too wild? There used to be tons posted a day and there was literally an entire day recently where there wasn't any.
That's bizarre to me. That used to be a hot bed of whatever. For whatever.
What happened?
Anyway…enough questions, just some housekeeping….
At some point before I left I went through and deleted a ton of "dead" profiles that were on my friends list. Come back 3 years later only to find out by doing that it took out actual real people that were active in error. So if you see a random friend request and aren't sure why you were cut that's more than likely why.
I did them in batches sooo… there's that.
All apologies.
There are of course ones that are gone from friends, family and sure as hell aren't coming back.
The drama queens, the clout chasers the people who were just a net-negative in some capacity I am no longer including. My fu-life is much, much better off without them.
Can't live on nostalgia forever and some nostalgia I'd rather forget.
No names please, I am sure they have already outed themselves by their words and actions and I honestly could care less.
I'm not here for inter-personal stress. I did that a few times and it's exhausting with once again, a net-negative outcome.
To quote the dated phrase: "Sorry not sorry."
Regret is something I don't have on here - other than the fact I didn't boot them sooner.

Hello kids! Long time no time!
Hope everyone's been well over the past couple of years (!) since my last musing.
And of course a Happy New Year albeit belated to everyone.
So I agreed to come back for what was -supposed- to be a day or so to help celebrate Chaotic's birthday on the 8th.
And you know, i was actually surprised. Didn't have any crazy things happen, everyone was really nice and yeah, it was pretty awesome so a big thank you to all of those that were a part of that. It was actually pretty cool.
Some fun new things I've observed:
AI has replaced Snapchat filters for defaults for some.
My favorite part of coming back to Fu after long breaks is seeing how people have changed, hopefully grown, and are doing better.
The part that cracks me up is when you look around and see people that looked younger than they did 3 years ago before I left and at that point looked even younger before I came back in 2016.
I get the game, I get the need to put on pretty faces to get dudes to rate you but as some point maybe it's best to age gracefully?
Use a Sabrina Carpenter gif or something.
Just a thought.
Also found some fun entire profiles that are AI generated as well. That's....a level of Catifsh that's rather new. Can't reverse image search that.
Just hope no one really thinks that those are real people, drop cash and catch feelings because...you're headed for shame & sadness and besides, there's apps for that.
Sometimes the best part of coming back after a long break is seeing people that were rather troublesome become either inactive, deleted or with nowhere near the FU engagement level that they had when you left.
All I have to say to that is thank the FU-CKING Fu gods.
Karama wheels continue to spin undefeated I see. But man, that shit takes forever sometimes.
But forever is better than never I suppose.
Looking to perhaps show up more often and perhaps contribute some and stuff that to new people is new.
Or perhaps they were warned in advance (that's my absolute favorite) about how just downright awful I am when they saw a random-day-in-January reappearance.
That or send random anonymous hate messages, I love those.

The ones who wield true power do not flaunt nor speak of it.
They don't need to.
They wear it like a shadow, something you feel before you see. It's the weight of silent unpredictability, the refusal to explain and the aura that whispers...

Hi kids. How are we?
Hope everyone's staying cool as summer is starting to heat up most definitely.
It's been a bit since I posted something like this but due to recent events and some of the things I've seen around here lately it might be time to revisit some realities of this place we all know and love or hate to love or better yet for some - love to hate.
1. Fubar.com is a business - and we're all customers.
I know this is a rather cold way to look at it, but alas it's the truth. Think about it. They are here to make money. They are here to keep the servers on and all that and pay themselves a salary. Therefore, there will be attempts to generate and improve revenue. Everyone has an opinion on that. You really think they want things that put the site in a negative light be it on site or somehwhere else? If you were running a business would you?
Personally, I recall a time when the only real income generated here was via blasts. Things have obviously changed since then on a wide variety of fronts in the past 16 years, but this is an important point to remember.
2. If someone tells you then "run" any aspect of this site - they are lying to you.
The only people that "run" this site are admin and those that assist and/or those are designated with a higher level of mods to take action on behalf of admin. That's literally it. I don't "run" anything , the reds & yellows don't "run" anything either. All they truly are those that simply know how the "game" is played at a higher level than most others. If someone makes you grandiose promises of Fubar glory there's a very high chance you're being manipulated and lied to and pretty much being used for however you can support (usually via your credit card or bank account) their ego-driven attempts to further their own rank, profile & level.
Is it worth it to go down with the ship? These ships always, always sink.
3. Threatening the lives, employment & relatives of other members, relatives and the like.
This is starting to become commonplace at a level around here not seen in nearly 13 years. And let's face it - it's coming from the top members & colors.
Why anyone would accept, condone or be a part of any "team" that practices this behavior on an internet gaming website with an interactive twist is beyond me. Don't be manipulated.
It's a game children - a game.
That's your profile. Those are your blings, your stats, your everything. Ownership of that needs to be taken by you. Can you learn things from other people as you go? Of course. But being any kind of part of any kind of "team" that practices legitimately illegal behavior because a member of their "team" didn't get a red colored name for a week or top this and that is absolutely absurd. Actions have consequences. And finally on this point, you do realize it's 2022 right? It's not 2007, 2010, 2012, 2016 or hell even 2020.
All it will take is one absurd and illegal real life event that hits the news to bring this party to a screeching halt and a lot of investigators at a lot of doorsteps (for those that have doors.)
Do any of you really want that? I KNOW a lot of you do not.
4. Off site chat channels & content.
Yahoo & AOL Messenger have been replaced with Discords & Telegrams. You think they are secure? You think by only letting select people in that it won't get out? You think that sharing nudes in an anon-ib esque format won't get leaked sooner or later (this is a federal & state crime by the way, for those that participate)?
If you believe any of these statements to be true, you are way out of touch with reality kids, way out of touch. If they are festering a shady enviornment for the sole purpose of their own sick pleasure, depraved sense of self worth, or to keep what you believe to something they are "running" guess what kind of people that will be in those chat channels?
The ones with the same intentions as their leaders.
How do you think that will end up?
They will screenshot & knife you faster than Jon Snow stabbed his Queen.
And as much as some would like to believe it - this isn't Game of Thrones.
5. Proof is king. Hearsay is bullshit.
I've always encouraged people to screenshot proof of misdeeds by others. Mostly to protect yourself from those that will mean you harm because there will always be those that will want to in some way, shape or form. Don't be lazy. Grab that screenshot. They can save not only you from future grief but perhaps someone else down the road from the same predator (that's what they truly are) doing the same things to someone else. Simply saying "I heard..blah blah" isn't enough to fully believe - it never has been.
Question them. If someone said it on the internet, then it was available somewhere to be screengrabbed.
Truth isn't drama. Truth is truth. Uncomfortably so for many.
And don't even get me started on the lies. It's amazing how I can see people post things publicly that are a straight lie about their personal life in 2022 when they were literally admitting they did the same exact thing in 2012.
That is so widespread it's not even funny. That's a topic for a completely different day.
In conclusion, just remember that the entire purpose of this website is to have fun and that this is a business.
You're only hurting and stressing yourself at the end of the day.If it's not fun any longer, you can always log out no matter what someone tells you.
You can always delete if you feel it is that detremental to your mental health to even have the ability to be tempted to log in.
But at the end of the day, your profile is yours.
What you do and how you choose to utilize it and who you wish to engage with it are all your choice.
Blaming others and taking it to stupid levels for what happens with it simply doesn't ring true.
If you follow this simple advice, much more enjoyable your Fubar experience will be.
