I just wanted to take a few moments to wish all my wonderful friends here a very Merry Christmas and the happiest of Holidays!  It's been a very trying and worrisome past few weeks, but things are so very much brighter for my family and me.  Our Christmas wish came true.  We got the best present we could possibly receive this year.  I so hope that each of you will receive what your heart desires.

Please, if you are able to do so, there are always tiny angels here on earth who need wishes to come true.  Sometimes all it takes is a doll or a toy car to put a smile on the smallest of faces.  Tis the season of giving my friends.  :)

My two tiny angels {Blake and Khloe} are having a warm, joyous,  magical Christmas and I sincerely wish every child could have that.

I know I have seen lots of Humbug statuses and such.  How can you possibly frown when you look into the eyes of a child and see the magic of Christmas?

This is my nephew Jason and his American Idol experience!  Can we say PROUD Aunty?  :D

So my son's best friend for life is finally out of the army.  Less worry on those who love him.  He had a very close call in Iraq and we are all so very thankful he is home for good now!  The best news is he is moving into the townhouse right behind me!  I have my #2 son back and close!  We are very excited about it!

This weekend is Blake and Khloe weekend.  Those two have my heart.  :)  The lil Princess is now established in her walking and jabbers constantly.  She says 1-3 word sentences, but rattles off a bunch of jibberish often and it's hilarious.  Her lil personality is growing daily.  lol

Blakie pooh is playing soccer now!  It's great for his lungs.  When I look at him and see the difference a year has made my heart swells.  This time last year we were seriously scared he wouldn't be with us much longer.  I am so blessed with these two lil miracles who are my grandchildren.  :)

It's a ME night.  :)

Soaked in a Warm Vanilla Sugar bubble bath, gave myself a mani and a pedi, shaved all areas which needed shaved, and slathered myself in Warm Vanilla Sugar lotion and Cherry Vanilla scented perfume.  I smell yummy.  Relaxing with a cup of Madigascar Red tea. :D

Got some poetic justice today and I am in a fine mood.  :)

I had to go to the grocery and was dreading it. All through the store my back was screaming from my S.I. joint all the way to my shoulder blade.  I was cursing myself for not already having what I needed at home.  I finally finished and made my way to the car, so glad I was finished with that part at least.  I was already dreading the drive home and then having to carry what I bought in.  It ended up being well worth it.

There was a man at the car beside mine.  He was putting his groceries in his trunk.  When I stopped at my car he came over and said he was sorry to bother me, but he had seen the purple ribbon with the words "cure cystic fibrosis" on the back of my car and said he had heard of cystic fibrosis, but wasn't exactly sure what it is.  He asked if I could explain and I did.  He then asked what he could do to help.  I told him about www.cff.org and that he could donate there to help in our fight for a cure.  He said he was going to go straight home and do just that.

Making  just 1 person aware  puts a smile on my lips and makes my heart sing.  :)

To  MANSON: excuse me darlin. you're a very attractive man, but that default isn't exactly the most flattering. maybe a default that shows off your best features would work better? have a lovely day :)

Wellllllllll, at least I was polite. I wonder what the response will be.  Think he will be just as polite?  :s

It's a crisp, rainy Fall day here in the Bluegrass and I LOVE it!  Autumn is my favorite time of year.  The colors, scents, and briskness in the air never fails to refresh me.   I love the warmth and coziness of dim lights, fuzzy throws, hot spiced teas, scented candles or wax tarts burning.  Today it's Hot Maple Toddy scented tarts. :)

I've already decorated my front door and front flower bed for the season.  Autumn leaves, pumpkins,  chrysanthemums in yellow and dark red, and a cute lil scarecrow.  

Time to bake fresh apple cakes, apple dumplings, apple pie, pumpkin bread, and make some fried apple pies.  Pour another glass of fresh cider.  

What a lovely time of year.  :)

Just letting you who care know that I will be scarce the next few days.  I am going to pick Blake up this evening.  He will be spending the next few days with me!  MUCH needed Nana time!  Yay!
