Well, I'm not going to be able to get Blake {my grandson} this weekend. *MAJOR sad face*.  He is fine, but as most of you know my mother lives with me and she has pneumonia with a fever.  We don't want to take a chance with Blake.  So far we have been EXTREMELY lucky in avoiding hospital stays with him.

 

I have to admit that I am feeling guilty because secretly I am greedy and want him here.  It's been a few weeks, which is a few weeks too long.  Bad daughter, I know. *another MAJOR sad face*

I spend way too much time trying to please everyone around me.

 

Both my mother and my son are staying with me at the moment.  Talk about a generation gap with me stuck in the middle.  My mother is hard to please and set in her ways, which I usually just go along with.  My son is a young 20something and I am young enough to remember how that is.  lol

 

He plays the tv kinda loud because he has 80% hearing loss in one ear.  He is in the kitchen a lot because he loves to cook.  He helps himself to whatever is in the house, which I prefer.  I don't like for anyone to feel as if they can't make themselves at home in my house.  

 

Mother is barely speaking to me this morning.  Why?  Because my son and Blake's mommy are getting back together and she came over last night with her almost 2 year old lil boy.  No Blake because we have been sick here and want to make sure Blake doesn't catch anything.  As soon as they got here mother told me to shut her bedroom door.  I did. She didn't come out all night.  My mother has a thing about other people's kids.  They tend to wear on her nerves.  This morning I am kinda getting the silent treatment.  *sigh*

 

Give me strength.  lol

Some of you know about my S.I. joint {sacroiliac}.  It's out of alignment. and when I use it too much it sometimes shifts.

 

Welllll, the past 4 days have been busy busy and apparently I overused it...again.  So, I am on muscle relaxers and pretty much confined to my chair for the next few days....again.  Also, I don't take meds very much at all.  Only when absolutely needed.  I have a low tolerance, so suffice to say...I feel weird.  :P

 

 

So, here I sit.  lol

Can I just once say, without any repercussions or fall out.....FML?

 

We all have times we need to.  I'm having a moment.  Sue me.

 

I know everyone has problems, but damn walk in my shoes for 1 month.  Seems lots like to discuss their problems yet I generally put on a smile and try to stay focused and positive.

I have slowly been watching more and more people in bad moods, feeling sorry for themselves, and forgetting that a lot of people have it far worse. Long time friends of mine are foster parents. Last week they lost 2 foster children and their home to a horrible fire. They are still in the hospital in critical condition along with 1 other foster child, all suffering horrendous burns on most of their bodies. Does that put things into perspective? Take me. My mother may very well be seeing her last Christmas, definitely won't be seeing my grandchild grow up. My own health is not what you people think it may be. My son lost 80% hearing in one ear this time last year. It can't be restored. We still have each other. We still know there are people in worse shape than us. We know feeling sorry for ourselves won't change a thing. I am sorry, but I just had to say a lil something. Please don't hate me for it.
