Oh, right.
I was completely underwhelmed by Warhammer.
It was like... well, it was World of Warcraft... every class plays like the WoW rogue, the quest system is completely ADD, and the whimsy and wanton killing... doesn't make up for it.
It's an incomplete game kids.
The lore book of built in quests and achievements was AWESOME- but... a bad combat system with no class balance (seriously- it was just a button slapper, and you could outdamage a heavy armored melee class with a healer class :P there was no point in roling something that couldn't regenerate- and there was no point in rolling one of those because the combat was uncomplicated and unchallenging, and ... BORING in its hyperspeed and uninventive technique combinations and lack of diverse classes and abilities, naught but a button smasher), a hyper quest system that is NONSTOP ERRANDS AND KILLING...

is nothing of the sort.
The company slogan should be
"Warhammer... for people who already liked Warcraft"
the pvp system has a point, the raiding is cool and EASY to queue, the built in customobility and achievements and personal lore tracker is bad ass!... the gameplay (actual combat) and environment is monotonous, the lore is typical high fantasy... there are only 3 or 4 classes per faction, and... seriously, if you didn't roll the healer, you're wasting your time, and yes, you look PAINFULLY like every other flailing dumb ass noob.
Give this game a miss, because you certainly won't miss it more than your money.
You will NOT see staggering amounts of new content for this game in 6 months. It really shouldn't release this september. EA will pull the servers in practically no time.
Also- it crashed EVERY 20 minutes... yes that affected my review of this game. But "its in beta" but "pobody's nerfect" ... no, I'm paying for a premium preorder and a subscription on a game in dev for 3 and a half years.
I want, expect, demand, better.
20 minutes of game play, 5 minutes of crashing, 5 minutes of logging in and loading. 5 minutes of restarting after a critical failure.
So... I'm kinda swearing off PC games for a while. Again. And meaning it this time.
Diablo3 really might be my last one that I pay money for.
Everything else in the foreseeable future I want is coming out on PS3.
