I'm about to hit the road, but just wanted to get something off my chest before I left. Before I get off in a rant, let me just say that soooooo many of you have amazed and pleasantly surprised me with the responses, comments, and all out love that I have received. I know I don't get on here as often as I used to, but when I do get on here, a lot of you still come by and show luv as if I never left, and I appreciate y'all for that.
However, I see yet again more of these bulletins, profile headliners, profile status lines, and what-not going on and on about so-called haters, and how someone is trying to sabotage someone else. And how Cherry Tap isn't fun, or how so many people are jealous. My thing with all of that is, what's all the fuss about? Is that really why you sign on to CT for? To spend most of your day replying or responding to idiots and envious people? Especially with all the good people willing to chat and clown with you.
Now I know I am fortunate to not be on here everyday, so I don't see the "daily drama" of this place. But it doesn't matter, because it's CHERRY TAP!!! Cherry Tap drama ISN'T DRAMA AT ALL!!! I look at these bulletins, and see some of these profiles, and just wonder if any of these "hated" individuals really know how fortunate they are. The fact that you have a group of people who get online and look forward to here from you or see you. The fact that you can meet a lot of cool and interesting people in just one night from a simple internet connection. And the fact you get to do this AT HOME!!!
And yet, so much time is spent on the small percentage of bitches and assholes who focus their time and effort just to piss people off and cause a stir. And a lot of you fall for the bait. Now a majority of the bulletins and "Oh woe is me, all this hate is unfair" statements come from individuals who rated, uploaded, comment-bombed, schmoozed, and basically attention-whored themselves to a high ranking, or CT popularity. And now that they are there, are uncomfortable with the responses for being the Popular Cherry. Well then, take that as a lesson. The ones that are the most visible, receive the most criticism, good or bad. Only the ones worthy of such spotlight can handle it.
I am on the road a month to 6 weeks at a time, and sometimes it gets crazy lonely and boring out there. I miss my family, I miss my true friends, and I miss parts of my life. But I keep things in perspective, and keep my head up and keep my thoughts positive. But when I see people who are with family and friends, who are at home, and actually have the time to be on here and socialize, get caught up in petty issues and drama, that just disappoints me. So in closing, if you can't find ONE person you can enjoy chattin' or clownin' with, can't find ONE person that makes you smile when you see that beer mug or multi-colored cherry next to their name, if you can't find ONE person who you could use your time to shine light and luv on, then yes maybe CT is not fun anymore, and you don't need to be on it. We have enough sour patch kids fuckin' up the kool-aid.
But hey, this is just my opinion......my word ain't law......
