Collection Agencies
I am so pissed off. My grandmother passed away this past June & she had some hospital bills from her stay. She died in the hospital. Now the collection agency keeps calling to ask "her family" to pay the bill. I don't get it, it's not like she has to worry about having bad credit, and the hospital didn't save her and send her home. They couldn't help her and she died, and now they want to get paid for it. That is such b/s. How do they have the nerve to ask for money from someone who is deceased!!

Warning, Surveys Are A Scam.
you get lured in with promises of points and entry for a possible greater prize. But they are bogus. for the past 4 days Ive been "preapproved" to do a survey, and after spending an average of between 5 to 10 minutes on each survey, it finishes and then Im told "you dont qualify for what we are looking for". So basically they want all their surveys to say exactly what they want, and dont want varied opinions. I feel if I spent all that time answering all those questions. I should get credit for doing the survey. IF they do have qualifications for surveys, they should ask them first thing, not wait till you've already taken the survey and waste all your time. This is the first "Negative" experience I've had since joining this site, and unfortunately its the site itself lying to me which makes it worse. I just hope to warn others before they are duped by this underhanded tactic, and save them the negative experience.

In May, I traded in my Toyota Matrix (sporty station wagon, but still... a station wagon) for a Toyota Celica (sporty coupe). When I drove it to Wisconsin for our family vacation recently, both my sister and brother remarked that it's just "not a you car, Tanya." I had to ask what made something a "me" car? Apparently, a Tanya car is a dependable, reliable, and eminently practical car. Please Pray For Her
Recently, high school sophmore Julie Fishleigh, age 15, of Ohio went to the hospital with a temprature spike of 108 and her organs shutting down. They had life flighted her from the local hospital to Rainbow Babies and Childrens' hospital and had her put on dyalasis. As of Wednesday (8/29) they have taken Julie off some fluids and sedatives that they've been pumping her. She's still in critical condition but is responsive and her heart is pumping very well. We cannot lose Julie; she's a personal and dear friend of mine and a very young girl--too young to be taken from us. So I'm writing this blog asking you for your prayers, thoughts, whatever you have to offer for the healing and strength of my Littlest Fish and her family.

Quick Ground Beef Enchiladas When your gang catches the tantalizing aroma of these enchiladas wafting from the oven, they'll run straight to the dinner table. Luckily, this quick-cook dish won't keep them waiting long. Servings: 4 Ingredients: * 1 package McCormick Enchilada Sauce Mix * 1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce * 1 1/2 cups water * 1 pound ground beef * 8 corn tortillas * 1/4 cup chopped onion * Shredded cheddar cheese Directions: Prepare the enchilada sauce according to the package directions, using the tomato sauce and water. Brown the ground beef and drain. Add 1/2 cup of the enchilada sauce to the beef. Getting There
As everyone knows, I implemented a new diet plan last week to go along with my workouts at the gym and my cardio excercise, I know cardio burns a lot of calories, yet is good for the heart and good health, I am riding my bike a good 5 miles or more a day on the trails here and have seen my endurance increase dramatically. Yet it does burn the calories, so i added a 2200 calories drink each day which I cut in half portions and do two servings to make it a little easier to take. I also added a 42gram protein drink I have on my lunches on both jobs along with a meal, and I use a mix of Amino Jac each day before my workouts and a recovery drink to follow each workout and bike ride, and the results are almost staggering. I gained 5 pounds the first 3 days and am at 10 pounds now on the week, and I am still lean with no fat buildup, and am getting ripped and more pumped up each day, the results I am seeing visually I really like, I am going to hold off a while to post new pics of the new me,

Breakfast It was a busy morning, about 8:30, when an elderly gentleman in his 80's arrived to have stitches removed from his thumb. He said he was in a hurry as he had an appointment at 9:00 am. I took his vital signs and had him take a seat, knowing it would be over an hour before someone would be able to see him. I saw him looking at his watch and decided, since I was not busy with another patient, I would evaluate his wound. On exam, it was well healed, so I talked to one of the doctors, got the needed supplies to remove his sutures and redress his wound. Monitor Update......
So went for a check up today at the Cardiologist they took the monitor off for 2 days...but I have to wear it a week longer...They want to check the information that is on it...not sure why....but oh well...I go back to the doctor on Thursday to have it put back on...yay! Okay, I've just had the strangest past couple of days i've had in quite a long time. Artichoke, Mushroom & Parma Ham Tart
Artichoke, mushrooms and ham are delicious together in this delicoius tart. Ingredients 1 3/4 C. sifted all-purpose flour 2 oz grated Parmesan cheese 2/3 C. butter, diced 1 egg, beaten 1 Tbs. olive oil 8 ozs. fresh mushrooms, sliced 3 ozs. Parma ham 1 (4-oz.) can artichoke hearts, drained 7/8 C. crème fraiche 4 eggs 1 tsp. chopped flat-leaf parsley 1/3 C. milk salt to taste ground black pepper to taste Directions Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place flour, parmesan cheese, butter, and a pinch of salt in food processor. Process briefly. Add the egg and 1 tablespoon oil through feeder tube, adding extra oil if necessary; you should be able to bring the dough together in your hands. Wrap in plastic, and chill for 1 hour. Roll out to fit a 9-inch quiche pan with a loose bottom. Prick all over. Chill for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight. Line pastry with foil, and cover bottom with uncooked beans to weight it. I added to my musical instrument collection recently, my bass guitar was falling apart so i traded somebody my Fender Telecaster for a Line6 Variax 5 string bass. I was going threw some old papers today. You know how us women are, we keep everything. I have a shoe box full of old letters, cards, etc. Came across a letter from a guy a friend hooked me up with before my trip to GA to visit with her and her husband. Super Eggplant-tomato Sauce
his is the s**t! The sweet-n-sour sauce goes great over any kind of pasta, dumplings, rice or even potatoes. Ingredients (use vegan versions): 4 tablespoon olive oil (or just use cooking spray) 1 eggplant, cubed 1 bell pepper, chopped 1 onion, chopped 2 garlic colves, minced 28oz canned or fresh tomatoes 5 tablespoon tomato paste 1 tablespoon sugar 1/2 cup water salt and pepper to taste Directions: ON STOVETOP: In a medium saucepan heat olive oil. Add chopped bell pepper, onion and garlic. Saute for ~5 minutes. Then add eggplant and saute for 5 minutes more. Now add tomatoes (with the liquid), tomato paste, sugar and water. The water amount may vary depending on how much liquid your tomatoes had and how runny you like your sauce. Cook for additional 5 minutes until everything is soft. IN MICROWAVE: In a microwave safe dish combine onion, garlic and bell pepper. Sprinkle with oil, stir, cover and cook for 4 min on 7

I'm really getting tired of all the stupid internet language I see everywhere. I'm talking about the replacements of the letter "s" with "z," particularly in the phrase "OMGZZZ." Really now. You expect me to believe you are saying "OH MY GODZZZ?" That would imply you worship multiple gods, which is polytheism, and since most people who DO say it tend to be monotheistic, I suppose it would be safe to say you are NOT referencing multiple deities. Therefore, you need to stop. It's annoying. Plus, I'm sure your God is getting pissed because you constantly reference these elusive other deities when he specifically commanded that you would have only him as a God. Chicken With Roasted Red Pepper, Chorizo And Sweet Pea Sauce Over Rice
3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, divided 1 tablespoon butter 1 large onion, chopped, divided Salt and black pepper 1 1/2 cups white rice 3 cups chicken stock, divided 4 (6-ounce) boneless, skinless chicken breasts 1/2 tablespoon smoked paprika, 1/2 a palm full 1 teaspoon dry thyme, 1/3 of a palm full 3/4 pound chorizo sausage, in packaged meats case near kielbasa, cut in 1/2 lengthwise then thinly sliced 2 large cloves garlic, chopped 1 small carrot, peeled and grated 2 roasted red peppers, chopped 1 (10-ounce) box frozen peas 1/4 cup chopped flat-leaf parsley, a generous handful Heat a medium size saucepot over medium heat with 1 tablespoon of extra-virgin olive oil, about 1 tablespoon, and the butter. On a day significant to tragedy I feel foolish writing of my own personal tragedies. However, each one of us has our own battles to fight and variety of emotions to deal with. No matter our startus or situation, we're all still equally human. A little over a month ago, God and his wife showed up at my door and told me I'd better sit "the fuck" down. It was harsh, but it was the only way I'd comply. I'd become a busy body, rising at 5:55am to host a friendly writing camp that began every day at sunrise, followed by a trip to the gym and a full day's shift in life putting me to bed around 2am. Rinse and repeat for over four weeks. I thought I had it made. I was ruling; stringer and smarter then ever. Even with a fried laptop and all my missing videos, pictures, and music I wasn't letting that keep me down. ngredients: 2 cups FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions 4 tsp. lemon juice 3/4 tsp. dried oregano 3 cloves garlic, minced 1 1/2 lbs. jumbo shrimp, butterflied 2 tbsp. melted butter Directions 1. CRUSH French Fried Onions in plastic bag with hands or rolling pin. Add lemon juice, oregano and garlic; toss to combine. 2. ARRANGE shrimp in a greased baking dish. Spoon about 1 rounded tsp. crumb mixture into each butterflied shrimp. 3. DRIZZLE shrimp with butter. 4. BAKE at 400°F for 12 min. or until shrimp turn pink. Tips: To butterfly shrimp, split each shrimp lengthwise down the middle of the back but do not cut all the way through. Open shrimp flat to "butterfly". Halloween Party
Okay so I went to my first Halloween party of the seasson and didn't know anyone there except for my friend, Danni, that I went with. ~~UPDATE~~ HISTORY... My daughter has been cancer free 4 da last yr. But i can't tell.. Sofar every 3 months her lyphnodes swell up in her neck causin her alot of pain. Nd her face ends up lookin very distorted. She has been dealing with this off nd on 4 da last 9 months.. nd her doctor's keep doing all kind's of blood work tryna figure out what's wrong with her. They have check 4 viruse's but they havn't found any yet. A few week's ago when we where @ 1 of her apointments 1 of her doc said 2 me... i wonder if what we gave her iz causing this.. i didn't question her about what he meant. but it bugged me 4 several day's tryna figur out what she was talking about. Grr Not Again
Well... I hope all of you had a good week end! I know I didn't! I went to my parent's place for the week end to visit. On my way there (3 hour drive) dad called me and told me that mom was having a panic attack and that he was going to take her to the hospital. 1 cup shortening 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1 cup packed brown sugar 2 eggs 2 teaspoons vanilla 2 cups flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 1/2 - 2 cups chocolate chips Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream together the shortening and both sugars. Then add eggs, vanilla, flour, baking soda and salt.
