Special Occasion
Today I had the pleasure of preforming the wedding ceremony of a friend. Her second. A much better man who loves her and loves her 10yr old son and even thinks she is fun. She is smiling all the time. Giggling now and then. And doesn't even care if her EX falls off the face of the earth. As long as he doesn't neglect or abuse his son, she can tolerate him. I got to see the look in both their eyes as they said they would love and protect and honor and forgive each other. I got ordained as a sarcastic response to a co-worker that said all internet minister are snake oil salesmen. I dressed up in a collar and brought a copy of the Farmers Almanac to carry instead of a bible. It was a fun Halloween watching the look slowly change on her face as I showed her the ordination documents that I printed off and the laws governing ministers in our state. And I was all legit. I have preformed 2 ceremonies in the last 2 years. Both as gifts to the couples so they had one less expense

I really don't know how to start this out or ever know where to begin with the thoughts i have. The past couple of weeks it just been non stop thoughts running through my head. Looking back on my life and seeing all the little mistakes i made. Which i shouldn't do, but it's so hard not too when you have lost to much in your life. You try not to dwell on it or make it worse then it is. Always look at it from a positive light, but sometimes you can't always do that. You need to take the bad with the good. Trying to be strong and being strong are two very different things. I guess there is apart of me that is strong, but there is apart that is trying. Life is so different for me at this moment in time. I look back on the years of my life and think why was i so angry, when i had everything i could have ever wanted? Why did i treat some people the way i did? A Special Place I walk along a path through thick greenery and discover my special place. This place has not been touched by the hard hands of man. As you walk in, you see a breathtaking waterfall flowing into a crystal pond. The pond is surrounded by a stand of trees, as if they are sentries guarding to keep the horrors that man reaps on the environment from it. There is a huge rock perfect for diving from into the cool crystalline pool or you can lay across the flat top of it to enjoy the sun and beauty. As you look down from the rock you can see the fish swimming by peacefully. Wildflowers grow rampantly over the banks of the pond. Special People In My Life
Since I have been on here,there have been alot of people to come across my page. There are a select few who have shown they are here for a lifetime. These are people who are there for me when I need an ear, hand or a kick in my backside. Some are new but have shown they are keepers. They are special to my life, and have brought so much to it. Oh, what a day Friday Feb 20th,2009. My 1st Auto 11 & birthday gift from my R/L daughter (Tracie) Vixxenn213 and our race to GODFATHER. At the start of the day I needed 1,500,000 and she needed 1,300,000 to level. In 9 1/2 hours we both reached Godfather. Team Rick leveled 1st and 11 minutes later Vixxenn213. Talk about some true friends, WOW! You all rawked!!! Many friends rated both of us & watched the race come down to the wire, leads changed, but in the end we had two new GODFATHERS. This was because of your support. So thank you all, and to your friends who came long as well, KUDOS! It fulfilled my birthday wish. Oh my god!!! My girls' godfather is sick & will not last that much longer...But no 1 can choose to live another person's life. People choose to live their lifestyle and others can not do a damn thing about it. David is now layin n icu, drugged up so he can't move, on a respirator, and with organs failing....I just told my girls tonight bcause this man was very close to them. I only told them bcause I finally accepted that he wouldn't b back with us...I am a parent that believes n telling my girls what they need to know. I want them to remember the best times with him, not the gritty truth. Yes, He used drugs, quit them, and ended up being depressed. The years of drug abuse is what has finally done him in...I have prayed, cried my eyes out, and now I'm bing strong for his wife, my babies, and my son. OH GOD PLEASE TAKE HIM PEACEFULLY! I took my boys to see Spiderman 3 tonight. I hope they don't make anymore Spiderman movies as this one was not the greatest. One of my kids even fell asleep. There was a lot of wonderful critiscism over this show, but honestly, I didn't enjoy it at all. There weren't a lot of action scenes and when there was, it was too dark to really appreciate it. The dramatic scenes were overdramatic, predictable, and frankly - boring. The actors did a fantastic job of what they had to work with. Poor Kirsten Dunst seems to have lost a huge amount of weight. She did not look happy. But - these are my opinions and I hope other people could enjoy the movie more than I.

This movie was good. Plenty of action and things to keep your eyes open. The problem comes in with the fact that they tried to put too much in without building the ideas and characters into strong pieces of the puzzle. They introduced at least 5 new characters that deserved stronger fleshing out bevause they are all important parts of the Spiderman story. Instead of crammong everything into a single 2+ hour movie, they easily could have made 2 90 minute + movies with what they have for a basis. See it but see it cheap

I took him to the vet they worked on him all day but around 730 pm i got a call he went to sleep and didnt wake up. Dave and Spike Spike is my service dog and significant other of 12 years. I have been a quadriplegic for 12 years and Spike was given to me right after my accident. Actually Spike was the property of a, not very reputable, breeder and was going the be raised and trained for a, not legal, activity. Then Spike became a trading commodity in an illegal substance transaction and when all was said and done Spike inherited me and I inherited Spike. Spike learned basic obedience through a couple of years of Shutzhund training and he picked up most of his service training by just growing up with me. Well over the years, Ive learned I have this knack for always wanting to help people. So .. anyone who knows me, knows that I am not a very spontaneous person. I get nervous meeting new people in person even though I am quite talkative on the phone and internet... Well.. Last night my son stayed the night with my parents and I hung out with my friend and came home.. well.. I got bored around 3am and there's this guy I have been talking online and on the phone and I agreed to meet up with him... AT 3 EFFIN AM... yeah..so that definately is not something I usually do.. Kinda dangerous.. So here I hang, watching the Eagles / Cowboys game and it's Eagles up 31-24 with 9:00 left in the 4th Quarter. Kinda cool game, but been retarded at the same time. I've seen old ladies play better than that on some plays. But then, I know it's a difficult game to play. Especially when you've got guys that LARGE coming at you. As a race car fan, one of the things I have been involved with as a volunteer was Champ Car racing. First when I lived in Oregon, then here in Colorado for the Denver Grand Prix, I would spend the weekend down at the track and meet the drivers, owners and lots of race car fans. Unfortunately, this year's event was cancelled as the Democratic National Convention will be at the Pepsi Center during that time. Of course, Champ Car has also been on its last legs, and this past week ended its run, folding its tent and the teams joining the Indy Racing League. What this means is that, along with the ending of the IRL running at Pikes Peak Speedway is that there is no more top level auto racing here in Colorado. We still have the Mile High Nationals at Bandimere, and the Pikes Peak hill climb, but its not the same. Hopefully at some point top level racing will return to Colorado. I knew Jack for a number of years both on and off the ice. I can remember going to shinny games early and he and I would sit there against the glass watching the mites practice. Jack would have a gleam in his eye making him look so much younger than his age. We would sit there and tell jokes (most of them dirty) or a group of us would just listen to him talk of past playing days. His stories were always lucid and vivid, and so god damn funny. Jack Molt played hockey in 7 decades. But to hear him talk abut it, you could never tell. Dispite failing health he continued to lace the boots because it was his passion for the game that kept him young at heart. Spring!
An hour and a half stuck in traffic on I79 due to traffic accidents due to snow. What a nightmare! Sunday was a balmy 80 degrees. Dear God, it's gotta get better! On a great note, my car was fixed in one day (caliper froze up and ground down the brake on that side) My test is over and I'm inching toward summer break.. it's gotta just get better! Happy Easter! I can hardly believe it.. it's finally warming up here. after the mildest December I can remember, we had the coldest winter in thirty years in this area (NW PA). I've exprerienced every shade of blue, witnessed countless accidents on my hour commute to Erie, and prayed through numerous white outs that I'd make it to work, school and home. The college only cancels class when there are reports of accidents on the interstate. I'm usually not one who complains or rants about things but this is something I HAVE to get off my chest. ok.. to let all of my sexy friends of mine on here.. friday june first.. my appendix burst. and they have to do emergancy surgery on me friday nite.. it took them 3 hrs for the surgery. because they couldnt control my bleeding or my blood pressure.. so they almost lost me twice.. im home now.. recovering.. i got out of the hospital today at 2 pm.. by the grace of god.. my blood pressure went back to normal.. i have over 100 staples in my tummy. they had to reopen my hystroectmony(sp) to find th bleedin.. from havin my surgery. will its been painful but relaxing and not has painful has was before.if that made sense to any of you sexy people.. Today bein the 3rd day... not havin to really worrin about nurses or drs commin in to check up on u. was great.. but again i dont have that choice on gettin the strong meds.. the manly meds.. like i did while in the hosptial.. Spring Holiday
Going on holiday for a week from Saturday (23rd). Taking the family to stay in a cottage down in the south west of England. Staying not far from Taunton in Somerset. Never been to that part of England before so will be something different. The cottage is part of an old rectory, has a churchyard close by so the neighbours should be quiet Planning on spending a while researching more of my family tree which is why I am staying in Somerset.
