I just spent
all day
hitting on my coworkers
my favorite
and my second favorite.
:D
Two of my favorite types in one office. Schweeeeet.
Ones artsy and demure
the other's the embodiment of confidence and fire.
:3
And then I promptly came home and made raviolis, worked out and joined my friend online to go beat a bunch of cultist wastelanders to death with improvised weaponry.
Good times. Apparently though I'm a ways off from owning a REAL gun in that game. Pistols are already available at my level (seperate skillset from the ones I have/want) and ...shittastic crosbows are available now.
... Hopefully in a couple levels I'll be the crazy melee/rifle outlander tinkerer I dream of playing. My friend rerolled from a pistoler to a pure melee because well >> if he just melees he doesn't have to make bullets or guns, and he can spend another chunk of his ability points on more defense.
You get four character slots, and it was basically my idea to go pure melee pure defense first, but he has a LOT more time to try it.
In other news
I think I've decided on my first custom job.
It's gonna be my 1/144 Gouf buuuuut I'm apprehensive because 1, I love goufs, 2 this one was a gift.
... but it'd be even cooler and more mine if I changed it up some.
I know I'm still probably a month off from my air compressor and airbrush but
I think I've got the paint scheme picked out in my head.
and it took a while to really come up with something that hadn't been overdone. I'm thinking of changing it to an alternating purple/black color scheme on the body/limbs and purple/black alternating on the beveled surfaces (gonna require a LOT of masking)
and then doing the head tubes red like the lining on the dom's camera.
Solid german blue to
alternating purple and black.
Now, some of you might be saying "weird choice" but... to be honest, going zaku green, or "Char's custom red" or even gundam colors
has been
done.
Ad infinitum.
So I'm not fucking doing it.
I'm also planning some custom decals, or at least some strip-masking stencils for a custom Zaku shield emblem.
I was thinking the hot lips emblem from the rolling stones on an iridescent metallic/matte black.
Frankly, I think it'll be a bitch to do.
It MIGHT be easier to pick up some decal paper, draw it, cut it, base coat, coat, apply decal, apply clear finish.
I dunno why, I just think a rolling stones zaku would be hella-boss.
Also, since I've got a big solid black saber with my 1/144 gouf, I'm thinking of drilling some holes in it and making a chinese style ringed falchion.
