The main thought processes here are:
I'm still searching for a tomato sauce replacement.
In the meantime I've worked out a carrot pure' and this red pepper thing. It's just canned crushed (by hand) roasted red bell peppers in an 80% pepper 20% tomato sauce.
don't forget about a dozen cream sauces built on rues
and some pan sauces with red wine
but I'd really like to do all this WITHOUT the aid of a blender
as mine is an archaic piece of shit and weighs about 130 lbs.
So the search continues
and cream sauces and cheese sauces are kinda
something I only do once a week due to my suspected lactose intolerance.
