My Neue Ziel SD
Well, not MINE specifically, but that's exactly what he looks like.
Well.. except I pulled him apart and started painting him.
I decided to try my primer coat and piano black out.
Some set backs.
Set backs set backs.
But I think I'm finding some common correlations. Turns out you can't leave your reservoir out or not clean your airbrush even if you want to just wait an hour for the color to set.
... then the color didn't even set in an hour anyway.
I think I broke down and cleaned that airbrush 4 times tonight for less than an hour of actual painting.
Also, there seems to be a direct relationship to how well my paint flows and how deep I insert the needle. Go figure.
I'm not priming parts again until I've plabeled all the sockets and probably finished the parts I've already set aside.
Oh... and I should probably commit to a drying rig, yeah yeah, keep talking about it, not seeing results.
From what I've seen its really just as simple as alligator clips on dowels, and I've seen alligator clips for .50 for sixpacks.
I'm gonna watch another tutorial and sack out.
I found one that really helped my technique, this one I just wanna drool over a finished product.
I see guys work way too hard on a lot of these kits without even changing the color scheme.
They just... prime, and then color it exactly as it appeared before.
If I spoke Japanese I might have a reason to tell you why they do that.
...
later.
