I ordered my pin vise (hand drill) and drills.
and 4 types of glue (they have different effects and applications) (also about the most expensive things on the list)
and an assorted pack of about 200 rivets
and some plane files
and some enamel cleaner
and some top coat
and a bottle of MAGIC
and
some shell casings/bullets/ammo belts
Hopefully they're a useable size.
They're 1/35 scale for real armaments and artilery.
Because after 100$ ... I got a discount and I was right at $90. So I threw in the extras.
I couldn't find anyone willing to post em next to a god damn ruler :b but I can use em. I know I can even if its to make ONE assault rifle clip or a cannon shell.
For fuck's sake
Jurassic Park II ? Really?
Oh...
so what's the magic for?
Did you notice that I bought enamel cleaner?
...
Of course you didn't.
There's a line of enamels that finish with a metallic effect. I bought a 2 oz bottle of alclad enamel high polish aluminum.
Its supposed to go on black high sheen acrylic.
The rest of that series go on enamel.
I've never handled, mixed, or cleaned enamel, so I thought this would be a good way to phase into it. If I get the technique down this may save me a lot of money and trouble with buying metal conversion parts.
That's the theory anyway.
Also, done or not I'm moving on to color. I want my NZ out of the garage.
I'ma go mince some pork
was there something else you needed?
Oh...
yeah
don't freak out but I'm drawing the schematics to my cannon.
It might not have much of a barrel effect.
Won't know til later.
There's my picture of nessy.
Or the OOB gouf saber compared to my sanded one.
