As most of you have guessed, today marks the nearly 60 year debate of what really happened at Roswell New Mexico on that hot summer night in 1947. Nearly everyone will agree that something fell from the sky....however what fell would spark a 60 year debate that forsees no sign of giving up yet. As it was first reported in 1947..a 'flying object' crashed into a field in Roswell New Mexico on July 08, 1947. The region at that time had received rain, and reports say that a thunderstorm was moving across the area at that time, (This has been confirmed by the NWS.) A local farmer went out early that morning to inspect his crops for any damage that might have been done during the storm. What he found would undoubtly set the stage for a debate that has gone on for 60 years. Upon getting to his fields..the local farmer discovered a wreckage of some sort....he wasn't sure what it was. It was described as a 'tin foil' that was resistant to bending, and crumpling. The local farmer called the towns sherriff, which in turn called the Roswell Army Air Base (which at that time was home to the 509th bomb group.) An Army PAIO came out to the farm to inspect the wreckage, and it is believed by many that they 'saw' an actual living alien. Reports about this are far and few...however it was stated that it was a 'being' with a large egged head, with big black eyes, tiny holes for a nose, and a small slit for a mouth. This 'being' was runnning around the wreckage clutching its chest. There were 2 or 3 other beings that were outside of the aircraft that were 'dead'. The PAIO called the base to come out and get the wreckage to take back to the base for further checking. It is reported that when the Army Air Force soldiers showed up that this 'being' was hit in the head with a butt of a rifle. It is unclear if this killed the 'being' or rendered it unconcious. However, the PAIO gathered up some of the wreckage in a small box, and was going to take it back to the base. While en route to the base, the PAIO stopped off at home to show his family what was recovered. the PAIO woke his family, and showed them what appeared to be something 'from another world'. The metal was light weight, and resisted crumpling. There were beams (I and H) that had strange markings on them....much hiroglifics on then, however they were geometrical in shape, and were on the insides of the I and H beams in a purplish color. The were described as being very light weight, silver in color, and aobut 12-18 inches long. Upon returning to the base, the base commander told the PAIO to issue a press release stating that they had in fact recovered the wreckage of a 'flying saucer'. News spread like wildfire! However, just as soon as this story hit, it was retracted....insted of saying that the 'wreckage' was that of a downed 'weather balloon.' Base personnel who spoke 'off the record' said that upon arriving at the base, that an Army Ambulance unloaded 4 'beings' all of which appeared 'dead'. They were described as the same as the above stated...only that they were in purple suits, and were much like the color of our skin. After the 4 'beings' were unloaded, they were placed in the center of the hanger, where they were inspected, inventoried, and recored. To this day it is not know what ever happened to the four 'beings' if there was any at all. However, there is speculation that there is proof of an 'alien autopsy.' I personally have seen this tape, and for the era, everything looks to be 'normal' the person doing the autopsy never showed his face, and there was in fact a being much like what had been described earlier there on the table being dissected. If this was a hoax, it will go down as one of the greatest hoexes of all time. I personally believe that there was an 'other worldly thing' that was found on that morning in Roswell New Mexico. I believe in the existance of aliens in other planets, however the most compelling evidence is the lack of evidence. There is NOTHING left to support this story, there is nothing left to see, over 60 years and still nothing. All of the living witnesses kept the same story, most of which told of an 'other worldly craft' being found. The military has kept this a tight lipped secret, and nothing has ever been released that would help the public put this at rest. At least nothing of any help. All documents relating to that day have been censored, and the official explination is that it was a 'weather balloon' that was recovered. However that doesn't explain what the PAIO family seen, th at doesn't explain why some witnesses said they seen a 'living being' at the crash site. If this is the case...who killed the 'being' was it killed, or did it die while en route to the base? There are so many questions that are left unanswered...so many people that reported seeing these things...their stories never changed. Never once did they change. It is often said in spychology that memories fade over time...however, these memories never did, and the stories match up perfectly. Most people took this story to their graves with them, only passing it down before they went. As I have stated...that if this is a hoex, it is and will be the longest and biggest hoex of the human race. Maybe one day we will truely learn what happened in that farmer's field on July 08, 1947. Maybe one day we'll actually be able to peacefully co-exist with aliens, and not think of them as coming here to do harm to the human race. Maybe just maybe we'll finally learn the truth of this 60 year mystery. I for one believe the truth is out there, and I believe that one day...we'll know the actual truth. Take it for what it's worth, or leave it. Either way, the Roswell 'cover up' is something that will never be forgotten.
