To those of you that don't know lately I haven't been sleeping well. So here is something that I wrote to get some of the negative energy out. Hopefully soon I will be able to sleep again. Nightmares What is it to sleep without fear of what may come? To fall into a black hole of oblivion Not to worry of the monsters that will haunt you while you sleep Or memories of your horrible life Or the terrible things that no one thinks of when awake What is it to sleep and not wake many times through the night? To find peace during sleep To relax enough to fall asleep To be able to fall asleep fast To be able to stay asleep all night What is normal sleep? I live with pain every waking moment I sleep with pain I have my past nibbling at my heels I have my fear come to life at night Nightmares causes to lose sleep To worry about why we dream them To fret over not falling into the black hole of sleep To have fear of the night To throw you into a depressive spiral Some only have to worry about an occasional nightmare Some have to constantly worry about them Some go through phases of both. So remember they are only dreams
