Update on my health.This Sept 24th 2022.
I am in pretty good shape for a person on 24/7 oxygen and working to get a lung transplant. On October 2nd I turn 66 YO. On Monday the 3rd I start to go through a series of 4 different days of evaluation testing to be able to advance ever closer to getting on the national transplant list. Reality is coming to light!

Yes my name is Mike. Yes my age is correct.

I have COPD that has gotten worse in time. I am now at 20% in my lungs now.
Yesterday I received a call from the Transplant Institute! I have a consultation appointment set for April 20Th! If I get new lungs, i have to remember they came on the loss of someone else's life. I think it is important to acknowledge that person as it most likely came too soon. If all goes well I hope and pray to get at least 15 good years and see all my grandchildren graduate High school. Heck, If I'm lucky I might even get a great grandie in that time frame!
