OK I know this sounds absurd. . . . I know really, But it works I have 13 heirloom tomatoes. None of them were producing after 2 1/2 months I tried everything, (egg shells, cutting the tops, rolaids etc) Nothing worked one week ago, on my great grandmothers advise I spanked every plant with a soft switch sunday I harvested! I know, like I said, I know how this sounds. . . . . But I was so desprite I thought "it cant hurt" and within a day every plant was forming blooms, within 3 days I had unrippened fruit. the saga continues ... Arrived at work today to see that there is still a homeless camp set up across my mall parking lot. After the events of yesterday and trying to get action on this issue for some time now I pretty much became a woman on a mission and decided enough is enough. It's amazing how loseing a freind makes you stop and think about what is really improtant. And amazing how one day can change your whole life and out look on things. So sad.... There was an amber alert yesterday for a 16 year old girl that disappeared from her job at a diner yesterday morning. She was said to have dissappeared with a 51 year old man with whom she worked. She was found murdered and raped last night, about 2 miles from the diner. It turns out that the man that is said to have committed the crime, was just released from a 25 year prison term in April, for committing the same crime. The jackass at the diner, knew his record and still hired him to work with this 16 year old girl. I am so very sad about this. Am Being A Bit More Positive
Being back onstage in Glasgow makes me happy as hell. Ashley is happy now that she doesn’t have to hear me through a microphone every night nor has to sleep in the same bed as me. So the Godley/Storrie combo is deliriously excited. Poor Ashley was with me on tour through Adelaide and was subjected to my presence in all forms for a whole month. When I was on tour living in hotels all I ate was biscuits, and hot pies at night, literally the biggest trucker heart attack diet of a lifetime and am paying for it now, suffice to say Ryvita is now my snack of choice. Let me be the first to tell you that this stuff has some strange effects on your memory sometimes. Several times I have spoken to or texted people after taking it and have no recollection of it at all, or a vague one at best. So, if you use Ambien, DO NOT take it until the moment you go to bed or these amnesia effects may occur to you. Somehow, one of my pillows ended up in the living room. Even if I had thrown it through the doorway, unless it pulled a mid-air turn, there is no way it could have landed where it did. There a couple of times recently where I went to leave for work and both the deadbolts on my door were unlocked. This happened two nights in a row. Coincidence? I don't know. It seems unlikely that I would forget to lock my door two evenings in a row. I just hope I didn't wake up in my sleep, go walk around outside or whatever and then come back into bed with no memory of it happening.

I am going to set the stereotype straight here about single mothers and their ambitions. I'm not bitching about anything, but there shouldn't be a stereotype about it. Anyone who says there isn't one is lying. Just because you are a young/older, single mother does not mean you do not have ambitions like every one else. Yes, they are somewhat different due to the new responsibility of raising a child or children. Having a child DOES change your goals and ambitions for life but it doesn't mean that you have completely given up on them. They also may take longer to acheive then if you didn't have a family, but they are still there. So don't get the wrong impression of all single mothers because of the other ones that give us a bad name. They're definitely not all the same.

Never fails...the only time we have a huge snowstorm and my partner and I are on call. The fricken snow builds up in front of the bay doors and we need to shovel it out. That's alot of fun at 3 a.m. LOL. The last time we had a blizzard, there were 2 guys at the barn and 3 females ( my partner and I being 2 of them). So in the morning, my partner and I got up went out to shovel, the other girl was making breakfast, one of the guys was vacumming and the other guy was sitting on his ass!! LOL. And my partner was an officer at the time...LOL now don't get me wrong, I' all for the EOE (LOL) but we were the duty crew and they were not, one would think they would help us out considering we went out that night to do a mutual aide call for the surronding town in which my Cheif lives.. for a diabetic whos BS was 14. EMT is EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN. EMT-I is that same, but an INTERMEDIATE Level, and Paramedic is the highest level of Emergency Medical Service provider certifiable. 2). EMS. The Ambulance Ride Was Cool!
I was at work yesterday when I began to get a dull pain in my gut. Started out small, but by closing time, it had increased in intensity. I decided to stop off at the Urgent Care Clinic on my way home. Well, it turns out I had a Gall Bladder attack. I also have a Urinary Tract Infection AND an outer Ear infection!! Since I drove myself to the doctor, they couldn't give me anything narcotic for the pain, so they gave me an OTC shot of something. Immediately following that shot, my pain level increased from a 6 to an 9!! The only thing left for them to do was give me the narcotic, and send me to the ER in an ambulance. By time the EMT's got there, the drug had kicked in and I was flying high!! The 2 EMT's were very nice and I think they rather enjoyed delivering a happy, high patient to the hospital, for a change! Amends (never Been On This Side Of An Amend Before)
When I was 17, my Junior year in high school, I lived with another family because things were dicey at my parents' house (violently dicey) and I moved out. They were extraordinarily kind and generous, They were stretching money and things were always tight for them, but they found a way to let me live with them for most of my Junior year, Two of the sons (there were 3 boys and one girl) were my best friends. When I came out, one of the sons, Phill, was not receptive about me coming out at all... he didn't react well. He couldn't accept me being gay... it was a very cold reaction. I didn't talk to him for years. I did talk to the other brother often for several years, but Phill was my best friend. It definitely left an empty spot in me... one I had forgotten about. I met him yesterday and he and his sister and I went to dinner. He made amends for the way that he reacted... it was tearful... It was amazing... It was amazing to me because he got to clear his conscience. H
