Like all good fubar point hoars, I have come to the point where I need to win the spotlight in order to level up. I remember when I first accumulated a million - it wasn't that long ago. I'm now at around 320 million and I really don't see how I can possibly raise enough without a LOT of help.
Those of you who know me know I can't stand begging. It's incredibly taxing on my mental status to do so, and I lump "selling" pimpouts and bling and such in with it. I also know that a lot of my fufriends who play the point game are at this same stage and also trying to raise fubucks.
So, I thought, maybe if we made a group of people we trusted, to pool fubucks to help people get the funds? We could have a list of people, and whoever's next up is the person we shower with fubucks as much as possible until they get their spotlight. Lower level members of the group would be "paid back" as they got to the level and others gave to them.
Am I nuts to think that such a thing might work around here? I'm not talking johnny pointwhore, just people we know to be honest and unselfish enough to help even if their payout might take a while. And if I'm not nuts, who might be willing to join such a venture?
I think fu should have a daily contest for biggest douche. The winner would then be exempt from being green or ranking of any kind for the day. To be nice, they could make it so a given account can only "win" once a week or month or some such.
I'm thinking perhaps some of the asses might be proud of winning the biggest douche award... they can even be a special brown color.

I was thinking (uh-oh!) while I trolled the mumms today.
A new drinking game, where we take a shot every time a mummer changes their status to talk about how rude people are after they post their drivel.
Could maybe even tie it in with a mummer's lounge so we can send a round of drinks whenever it happens :P

Not just mentally.
I'm at the dreaded point where I need 250 ability points to level. A few kind souls have gotten me down to needing 206, but it still feels like way too many to go.
I have fubucks. I have my own 15 ability points each day. I can do pic mods, rate your stuff, polish your bling... Anything else you can think of that you'd like in return for pimping me out, shitfacing me, killing my buzz, vouching, altruizing, cloaking... just let me know. I would be extremely grateful (not NSFW grateful, but that's better for you anyway :P)
I've scheduled my birthday happy hour.

You are likely to get even more unusual or interesting phone calls today, but people are a little less warm and fuzzy than yesterday. Someone is likely to call up to demand to know where you have been, what you are doing and why you aren't paying them more attention.
So... As you may have noticed, I am back after a couple months of fubreak. On the off chance that anyone's curious about my life while I was gone, here's the cliff's notes update.
In January, I was in the hospital getting some large kidney stones removed via surgery. One of them popped out of the incision they made in my kidney, and is floating around in my body somewhere - they say it won't cause any problems there. We'll see. I still have one large enough not to pass on its own; they're keeping an eye on it and if it causes more issues it'll have to come out the same way. The biggest issue about the whole thing is that I lost my contract at GM - apparently my being in the hospital was inconvenient for them.
I spend much of my time on Facebook playing Island Paradise and Zoo World. I've finally regained some of the energy that I've been missing the last couple of years and am attempting to clean the house while I'm home.
My kids were tested for the gifted and talented program. They were given an IQ test and my 6 year old son had the highest score in the school, with my 9 year old daughter getting the 2nd highest. They say my son would've scored even higher, but he'd gotten bored and taken off his shoes and socks and was more interested in his toes than their questions. At any rate, he'll be joining the Magnet program in the fall and all of his ASD programming will follow him there - and it will be less disruptive because of the kind of class he'll be in. Although my daughter qualified, she's decided to stay in her current school for the last year before middle school, where she will be with her friends. She's much more needy that way, so I think it's the best thing for her. I found all of this out on Friday... which made me an especially proud mom yesterday :D
That's about all the important stuff... I guess it wasn't as cliff's-notesy as I'd thought, but too late now (for you) :P
