- Insecurity -
It rules most, heart and head.
Some so much it dictates who they let in and out of their life.
Don't get me wrong, I have my insecurity issues,
but you'd never know it.
I don't make them public.
That kinda stuff is private.
It shows your weak side.
It also makes you bitter and hateful if you allow it :/
My insecurities were 100x's worse growing up.
I was painfully shy (yes, can you believe that!)
Also add the pressure of being a minority to the pile,
but I never fully understood it.
Why was I so insecure?
Why did I worry about other people's opinions?
Where does this irrational fear come from??
As I've matured, I've given up trying to understand it.
(Word of the day: Mature)
The fear has dissipated and I've come to grips with my shortcomings.
THIS IS ME
Like it, love it or fuckin leave it.
I'm not gonna worry about so and so,
who he's talking to,
what they're doing,
what she's saying,
what they're wearing,
how much money I'm not making...blah blah blah.
I refuse to let unjustified thoughts rule me.
So if you're holding grudges,
being passive aggressive,
acting bitter and resentful towards others,
GET A FUCKING GRIP.
Realize what you're doing and know the fear gripping you is illogical.
Take some time and go through your mental Rolodex.
Make some fucking changes.
Seek therapy,
Start exercising,
Travel,
Surround yourself with positive, loving people and know,
the whole world is NOT against you, FFS.
