Paula Abdul is a tone-deaf skag who does her bouncy bouncy dance to all the young guys cuz in her warped midget mind she actually thinks she has a chance.
yannow what?
she couldnt sing when she was popular...so why oh why...would they choose her to help judge American Idol?
Simon woulda voted her off.
in the first round.
and told her something deplorable along the lines of...'you should never sing...ever'
if the Howard Stern American Idol experiment works...theres no way to ever remotely come close to trusting the results of anything on television ever again...well...not that we ever could in the first place...but america likes to think it has input to a certain extent in these reality shows...but it all boils down to those phone calls...and people...who vote for their friends...eventho they know deep down their friend sucks and couldnt carry a tune thru a brittle straw...still they punch in those numbers to keep their friend in the race. *shakes head*
stupid americans.
vote for the best.
regardless of who you like...and who you dont like.
vote for who was the best that week.
not the ones who are normally good but crapped up this week.
but thats a concept lost on feeble minds...n thats just sad.
so when Sanjaya aka Michael Jackson is the next American Idol...thank yourselves...and of course Howard Stern.
i know im a singing snob as much as i am a movie snob...this is a given...try spending 20 years singing in front of audiences and being critiqued and thats pretty much what happens. those off notes grate on your ears. flat notes? make you want to hurt someone. it doesnt matter how the rest of the song is...there was that flat note...that sharp note...that completely off key note...and it burns in your memory...
like watching the olympics...figure skating...if people fall? those people shouldnt win. the end. if other people never fall? then those people should win. the end.
it shouldnt be about a popularity contest...but gee...its reality...and life boils down to a popularity contest...which is just..sad and pathetic.
and thats my take on that.
