that hits the nail right on the head. not when it comes to men but when its applied to humanity as a whole. theres a select few who see life as more than their own personal naked bedpost notched stomping playground.
sure we have bodies
sure they're enjoyable
sure other people have bodies
sure i bet they're enjoyable as well
yet if all we were meant to do was screw like bunnies, i'd like to believe God would have been a tad kinder and provided us with much less brain power so we wouldnt be capable of overanalyzing our purpose to death. im sure the bunnies dont ruminate about such things
for instance.
i have a very anal retentive personality.
i buy organic veggie chips. they come in 3 colors. orange, green and white. everytime i reach into the bag i have to take one of each color. my polenta has to be cut into even slices. when i vacuum its always horizontal first and then vertical. from right to left. the laundry soap goes into the washer exactly when its half filled with water AND clothes. im a spelling/grammar nazi, but i detest punctuation except for periods which i use entirely to often. i always put my hair into a braid after a shower. anti-perspirant goes on before the shirt eau de toilette after the shirt...THEN pants. i hate sticky fingers but love corn on the cob. im a brush and floss-aholic. i like the movie 'Bent' but thought 'Hedwig and The Angry Inch' was just a touch too much for me. when i go up stairs i count them, but not when i go down. ive read Bright Flows The River every year for the past 14 years and im still not tired of it yet quite discontent its out of print since my copy is falling apart. i miss mah D and her babies so much some days it just hurts. so if my only purpose is to be naked than i have entirely too much brain power. so dont try to tell me...dont try to convince me that being a naked play thing is the whole point of existence....or even a partial point...its a by-product.
some animals, the multitude of them in any case, engage in 'sex' for procreation purposes only. i think perhaps it was a kindness on Gods part to include 'enjoyment', since He didnt have to, and somewhere along the way, we took advantage and became obsessed with carnal needs, carnal knowledge and carnal enjoyment.
at this particular point in my life, sex is that overplayed song on the radio...i might still love the song...and maybe one day i'll love it again like i used to, but right now? im sick to death of it. so whenever that particular 'song' comes on...i might listen to it for a bit...but eventually i'll change the station...and as long as it remains that overplayed, overindulged, lost any sort of meaning song....

sure life might not be a box of chocolates and no you're never gonna know what you're gonna get, but that doesnt mean you cant AIM for something either.
if you cant understand where im coming from or even the gist of the point...perhaps you need to crawl out from beneath 'stupid rock' and grab yourself a clue.
