I don't know that it hurt because I loved them. It hurt because people you love always hurt you, even if they don't want to, and you're vulnerable because you love them.

I'm sure I have, because we always hurt those we love. But normally they cry 'cuz they hurt me, not 'cuz I hurt them.
Are you happier single or in a relationship?
I'm more stable and generally happier in a relationship. That said, I'm very picky about who I get into relationships with, so I'm single a lot.

No.

Yes.

I don't think so.
If you could go back in time and change things, would you?
No. Well, maybe. I might have gone with my gut and broken up with my ex-husband a lot sooner.
Think any of your ex's feel the same way you do?
I think my ex-husband would probably agree with me. And I'm absolutely positive my 2nd boyfriend Andy wouldn't have broken up with me. Because he's told me a million times over the years,
"Breaking up with you was the stupidest thing I ever did."

Yes. My 1st boyfriend was 15 months older, and my 2nd boyfriend Andy was five years older.

Eh. My ex-husband was five months younger, which I'm not sure counts. :)

Yes.

No. I believe in lust at first sight. And I never fall for people I lust after at first sight. :) That's just not how I work.

Yes. Well, we picked it out together and paid for it together 'cuz we'd been together for three years at that point.

Yes. My 2nd BF Andy wanted to get back together with me after my divorce.

My ex's all love me. And I love them. (I've had very good breakups, for the most part) Just in a non-romantic way.

One of them. One of my best friends is my sister (eww) and I can't imagine being romantically interested in the third. I've known him since I was 12.

My first BF still calls me Toots to this day. :)

I'd probably try to be supportive while subtly shifting their attention towards warning signs. When that failed, I'd probably be unable to stop myself from being brutally frank.
Do you regret any of your relationships?
Of course not. I regret that I didn't give up on my marriage earlier than I did, but I don't ever regret the time I spent with him, or any of my ex's. All three of them. *laugh* (I said I'm picky!)
