I am single (divorced, not bitter), no kids. I am mainly on here looking for friends. I enjoy intelligent conversation, and I'll talk to anyone of any age, as long as you're polite and have something interesting to say. I'm definitely not looking for a hookup, and while I wouldn't mind meeting a wonderful guy, I don't really view Fubar as a dating site of any kind.

I am attuned to my sexuality, but I'm also a warm, intelligent, wise human being. If you can't treat me with the respect and maturity I deserve, don't bother talking to me. Also, I don't cam or cyber. They bore me. So, don't ask.

I appreciate people who are curious about the world, and I enjoy learning from others; I am most drawn to people who feel the same. I tend to be strongly opinionated on matters important to me, while freely acknowledging the right of others to their own (educated) opinions. People who view their opinions and lifestyles as the only possible correct and right ones mystify me, and those who are unable to learn from, and appreciate, the educated opinions of others horrify me.

I like books and music and hanging out. I like watching football, and I wish (oh, I wish) I could afford season hockey tickets (GO PENS!). I'm a classically trained musician, and I do some musical theater. I like games -- video, card, board, whatever.

I like people who are slightly geeky/nerdy, but not socially awkward. Wide-ranging interests are good, as are respect and appreciation for human diversity. I get along best with people who appreciate the arts but feel most comfortable in jeans.

In real life, I write documentation for computer software used to design integrated circuits. It's more interesting than it sounds!
