found the pet store...
with some help from mah trusty chickadee...heh
they didnt have the stuff we needed...
soooo we ventured to the other pet store mah chickadee mentioned n the guy in the first pet shop said to check out.
oh.
mah.
gawd.
they had...everything.
bought Rocky the Frog a new terrarium...
some ground cover...
a lil hut
a new water dish
and some meal worms
dun dun dun.
bought mah lil raye o sunshine
a guinea pig.
cuz she was just sooo uberly cute...
i had to have her.
regardless of whether sunshine wanted her or not
*giggles*
i hafta take pix of her.
bought her a lil...habitat home thingie
with a lil wooden cubie...
and some wooden veggie toys for her teeth
spent over 200 bucks at the effin pet store.
ha.
i wanted to name the guinea pig 'Ophelia' cuz im weird like that like...and i dig Shakespeare...but it was vetoed.
cuz the kids are fuckers.
so.
sunshine named it 'lolly'
i think ima call her 'fred' just to annoy them.
*snicker*
now im makin dinner.
when i really need a nap.

exhausted.
my brain is full of all sorts of things
which i really cant make heads nor tails of..
and moms is tryin to be helpful & supportive...
yet i just cant find a way to explain things in such a fashion that she could really...understand it on even a semi-close level as mah chickadee...but iunno if thats possible.
i think i'll hafta think it out elsewhere.
i think ima buy Munchkin a bunny for christmas.
cuz she really really really wants one...
but she has this tendency to ignore her pets...
soooo the deal is...if she takes care of Rocky the frog...and doesnt need to be reminded every single day to do the simple things like feed him and change his water...than we'll entertain that notion.
im not really a bunny sort of person...but they had some really cute ones at the pet shop...and the saleswoman was dead-on when it came to the friendliness of Lolly...so maybe i'll give it a go...
cuz frankly?
i'd buy that child a lil taiwanese midget if that meant she'd stop beggin for a snake.
on that note...
its time to check dinner.
