Knowing love is not only skin deep
It draws us into our own inner hell
Knowing how much we and our loved ones bear
Beautiful blonde laying painfully
Giving birth to that child she loves amazingly
Mother and daughter holding hands
WHen mom is in the middle of her alzheimers
Dad and son going fishing
Not knowing Dad would bury him 3 months later
Not knowing how much he would miss him
Brother and sister fighting a war
Hers is political
His is for her
A wife holding her dying husbands hand
His pain is not the cancer
Just the thought of missing her

Knowing some day their hearts will be one and never lost
Loves pain comes in many degrees
In the heat of it all
Grab your loves hand
