She comes in the morning

She then sits down

If there's a lot of work

She gives a frown

Her throat gets itchy

As you can really tell

Then she blows out a cough

That sounds like a yell

It's heard round the world

Yes it is that loud

The cough is tremendous

It can knock down a crowd

You may think it lasts minutes

But no it lasts the whole day

Too bad I ran out of cough drops

I gave them all away

I hope she covers her mouth

I hope she gets better too

because I don't want to get sick

And I know you don't too!
