Now... in theory my friend is coming down and fixing my AC this weekend, but I just took a cold shower, because I felt that my brain wasn't functioning at optimum capacity.

I may have kept myself from suffering heat stroke.
EVERYTHING sucks when its this muggy. And we had FLOOD levels of rain yesterday, so... I'm pretty much breathing an oily mist of ... ground water and hatred.

On the upshot
My other besty left me a message... and I finally found an excuse to say "yeah I was waiting to say something interesting but nothing interesting happened in 6 months". I'm kinda used to not hearing from him for months at a time since... y'know

Tonight I had cold duck on taboule
because the rest of the duck was being stripped and boiled in broth and wine

I think I started with 6 cups of liquid
we're at about... 1 and 1/2 now

thyme, salt, pepper, blueberry preserves, duck fat, chives garlic, onions.

Oh god dinner is gonna be good tomorrow. It'll be in the fridge all night and that just does... magical things with colagen.

I don't really like working on anything when its this hot, even watching House goes a little ... weird.
Like having a fever, its there, you're not functioning 100%, and its just not as good.

But I did finish 2 arms for my 1/100 Gouf (this is a new kit, the kit in the garage is the 1/144)

and its a terrible build. Just like the Zaku I I have. The colors are off, and there's no maneuverability in the fingers, just open, closed, and shooting hands.

Rather than doing ONE runner of the solid plastic rather than this weird... gumdrop blue color, they decide to make a runner of off-color resin for the hands, tubes and ... man I hope that's all.

I still like this color compared to the version 2, which reportedly has none of these issues, a more detailed and articulated skeleton, and about 5 more runners of parts.

Now... I'm planning on painting this kit and OOB'ing the version 2.
But the version 2 is closer to a sky blue, this is closer to a german blue.

I like the german blue, its closer to the video game versions and the concept art. Sky blue and powder blue are closer to the custom colors Norris Packard used.
