And so, at 5:35 pm, Pacific Standard Time, I caught myself in my hotel room, watching the "That 70s Show" marathon on FX.
It's a time of giving thanks for everything you have and... well, for whatever position you're in.
I guess I should be thankful that I'm not outside in the cold, or in jail somewhere having my sexuality redefined, or at work, or... something. Instead, I'm in this hotel room, thousands of miles away from "loved" ones, having long, meaningful conversations with myself, and eating microwaved chicken and stuffing...
I think everyone else should be thankful they're around family and friends. Trust me, you could be a lot worse off than you currently are.
