your mother has a sense of humor.
Yesterday my mother was asking me for a favor today. I had another commitment and couldn't do it for her. I of course appologized. She pops off with, "That's ok, I put on my big girl panties this morning. I can deal." Somehow, that's just not something I expected to hear out of my mother's mouth. I could barely stop laughing long enough to finish the conversation and say goodbye.
