G.A.S.P. etc. Filed under: All Articles — September 22, 2007 @ 4:27 pm Back in the era of Phantasm 3: Lord Of The Dead’s release, Fangoria had the lead on coverage of the film, but running-up and seriously gunning for top dog was metal/horror G.A.S.P. etc. The magazine’s Mike Baronas & Dan McDermott conducted thorough interviews with Don Coscarelli, Michael A. Baldwin, Reggie Bannister, Angus Scrimm, and the only real interview I’ve read with much-missed composer Fred Myrow on his music in the series (plus his work on Soylent Green and an unfinished project with Jim Morrison!). All of that in glorious black & white print on non-glossy paper - ahhhhhh! (Flashing back to my Netherworlds fanzine printing days - gimme a moment). Now G.A.S.P. is back in an online format, and select issues of the mag have been archived in PDF format online - the Phantasm 3/Pantera-centric #5 among them.
