Well I went to the doctor today and got good news and bad news. Guess I'll do a good news bad news writeage today hehehe.
Good news.....I have actually dropped 3 pounds since late September (last time I was there, I wasn't able to make my Oct appointment). Don't know how that happened but its a good thing.
Bad news.....I have athritis in my right knee now in addition to my spine, thus the severe sharp pain I've been dealing with for about a week.
Good news.....I got a prescription for a new product to help me quit smoking. Its called Chantix. You start the pill 7 days before your chosen quit date and then on that day you quit. If you slip up, you just keep trying and it usually takes a couple to few weeks for it work but apparently it does work. I'll give updates on how thats going once I start (have to get the Rx first lol).
Bad news.....I'm still smoking, so more then likely my surgery hopes for the beginning of January are going to be delayed *sighs in frustration. A slightly good with the bad thing is at least I'm still trying and serious about quitting even though part of me doesn't want to. I will quit even if it means I have to do it with pills *sighs I actually do not like taking pills other then vitamins and the darvacet as that helps my pain.

Good news.....I'm slowly getting back on track with trying to switch my eating habits and cut down on the food.
Bad news.....I said slowly in the above cause I can't stop my chocolate craving and I keep eating junk food *sighs
Good news.....I've been in contact with a shaman elder that is learning about me to find out if I need a soul restoration (where she will enter the spirit realm to retrieve fragments that are missing). I may also be taking her courses to learn shamanism!
Bad news.....I need a soul restoration. Nuff said.
Good news.....I should be going back to work real soon. Seems they are finally getting the new product working better and once 2nd shift is trained, I'll be able to go back. I was told last week it should be the beginning of next week if they didn't call me this week (I wasn't called).
Bad news.....I'll be going back LMAO.
Good news.....I found out that I can still go to the VA even with having insurance. I think once I have the surgery and get all that taken care of then I'll go back to using the VA (Veterans hospital, I'm an army vet).
Bad news.....The doctor I have been seeing for about 6 months now. The one that has helped me more then any other. She's ending her practice at the end of Dec and going to the VA. I hope when I do go back to the VA I get her lol.
Good news.....My low mood swing seems to be easing up. I'm trying to do things to help improve my mood.
Bad news.....I'm eating a lot of junk food when the low moods are hitting. Gotta cut that out and I'm getting serious about stopping that.
Good news.....I'm taking some herbal pills to help me get rid of this water retention (its been bad because I've been drinking a LOT of soda). They are starting to help (only been on them 2 or 3 days). I'm also going to do a detox diet thing (Hollywood 48 hour dite) this weekend. I've never done a detox system so it will be interesting.
Bad news.....Nothing really bad with the above because its healthy to detox, just a bit nervous about what it will do to me lol.
Good news.....I got some goofies in this message :)
