Job
What else happen this summer? I lost my job. I believe where I worked at were afraid my ex was going to come there and threaten me. This a a big security issue for patients. I just started this job in March of this year and only worked 6 months. I learned alot and loved my job. I made some friends. I didn't understand and still don't. I had doctors stick up for me and have great letters of recommendations. I am on unemployment until I can find another job.

So following all the BULLSHIT I have encounted in the last year it does not come to a suprize that this is the way my week ends. Last month a few of my friends passed away and I had some financial issues. This week someone I love more than anyone said goodbye to me which BROKE my heart...... An hour ago both of my Bosses were fired from their positions. One was demoted to another Facility and my close friend, the other Boss was terminated completely. I am in complete shock.

Paralysis!
About 3 weeks ago I contracted a virus....It's called Guillan Barre,it attacks the lining of the spinal cord and causes temporary paralysis.It causes an interruption in the pathway of the nerves and weakens the muscles to the point that you cannot support yourself.It sometimes affects the respiratory system and the person has to be on a ventilator to breathe.......It can also affect your bowel and bladder functions.....In my particular case it only affected my arms and hands and everything below my waistline also in association with numbness to the extent that I can basically feel nothing.....I am having to learn to walk all over again but my progress is quicker than expected with a 100% recovery rate....rehabilitation and recovery can be from 6 weeks up to a year....My release from the hospital is scheduled for June 22nd......Peace out!

So as most of my friends already know, I am almost finished the renovations! It's been a really long, annoying road to get this all done, but progress has been made in leaps and bounds as of late! I was comming outside saturday night after one of these stoves was burning for about 8 hours...I tripped and fell and burned about 50% of my right arm...I went to the hospital and found out i have 2nd degree burns and have to go to a burn treatment center for a few weeks....They said it shouldnt scar too much.....It was the worst pain I ever felt in my entire life...Im praying everything goes well...wish me luck

3 Years Baby!
Today marks the 3 year anniversary of when my son's dad put my head into a brick wall and I left him. It is also the day I use for my clean date. It really was a couple of days ago but I'm not positive when so I use today. (I would have almost 4 years clean but my stupid ass got back together with my son's dad and relapsed for a month about 3 years ago.)

Work Can Be Fun
I've spent the last several evenings working on a website to raise awareness about some issues involving capital punishment in general and that also focuses on Robert's case in particular. He's been writing his story and mailing it to me in installments for me to post and I have to say I'm really proud of how things are going. It's a work in progress, but it is definitely a good start. I'm pretty proud of things so far. I think my main reason for blogging about this, though, is to acknowledge in public view that I couldn't have done it without the help of a good friend...Davin. Some of you who read this may know him here on fubar as xaaltriolith. He's been helping with the technical issues I have just about as much as I've been working on the posting and writing the stuff for the site. He's been wonderful. What in the hell is the world coming to? I have a friend that is going to Cali. because she has submitted herself to him. A random jackass that is going to get his jollies off hurting her. I Just Wanted To Let Something Free
I cant remember the last time I found myself not feeling like sleeping. I'm fatigue, not yet ready to say tired but i'm fatigue. Physically and emotionally I am. I just dont want to sleep. On Thursday, January 10,2013 my mothers battle with cancer ended... She passed peacefully in her sleep. On saturday the 12 th we honored her with a memorial service, I gave one of the eulogies which follows.. On Thursday afternoon I watched as my mother took her final breath, free from pain and at peace. It saddened me greatly to see her go, yet at the same time I knew that she was indeed ready to go on to her new home. She had struggled so hard in her last days hurting and it pained her to have to depend on the care of others, Momma didnt much like having to depend on others for much of anything that way. I have been reflecting on the influence that my mother had on me through out mt life.. she taught me how to cook and to sew and most importantly to her she taught me how to give a 'proper' dinner. Superdrive Sunday
The California Melee folks decided to throw a SuperDrive Sunday for everyone that knows football watching is for losers. Angry Lance and I made the trek to Pacifica and checked out the myriad of cars: Alfas, Porsches, Jaguars, Mercedes and a couple shitboxes like our Datsun Bluebird, David Swig's BRE 510, and hotty Elizabeth's old Toyota. We got about an hour and a half into the drive and Angry Lance started getting sick. Two people getting sick in two events. This sucks. I think the Bluebird is now the barfbird. Howdy y'all! Hope you all are doing well. This is just another little peep into what is going on with me. Tomorrow morning I go for bloodwork then I will be having some surgery done at 4:00pm. My leg has once again gotten infected and the doctors are going to try and do some cutting and cleaning to prevent the infection from getting into my bone again. Also from all of the infection in the area, there is another area on my leg that has become infected. It has caused a cyst type thing to come up and they are going to have to cut into my leg about 2 inches deep to try to get this taken care of to also try to stop the infection. I am somewhat discouraged by all of this because I really thought I was on my way to recovery. However, my body can't seem to fight off infection of any kind and I am immuned to all the antibiotics. This week is somewhat chaotic and stressful. It was finals week at Nicholls State and I, needing only one class to graduate and thus only taking one class, took my final on Wednesday. I spent most of Monday and practiacally all day Tuesday studying for the final. Practically meaning that I took a 2-1/2 hour study break. Who The Hell Is That??
I look around on site and I noticed the increased number of "fake"default images floating around. Not because someone is trying to be someone else but because they are trying to attract more profile visitors. In a way it's sad. We as users have allowed the site to make a climate where people think they have to be "beautiful" to fit in or be liked. One thing that I've learned, people will either like me or not. Dont Ever!!
Okay so yesterday I learned the *hard* way not to let anyone thats not a doctor or chiro touch my back. I had a friend that popped my back in May and it was awesome, so I had him come over and do it again yesterday. NOT SO AWESOME. By 6pm last night the pain was setting in, by 9pm excruciating describes the way I was feeling. Now mind you, I was having pain from the nape of my neck down to my tail bone, radiating over into my shoulder. I can't sit in one position long, cant move certain ways, including taking a drink leaning back, I had to grab a straw. I tried finding a ride to ER last night and failed. This morning my sister dropped me off there. The check in nurse when she seen my back said OMG! Then from there I became a freak show or so it seemed. Almost 2 Weeks After Surgery
so its almost 2 weeks after surgery, i'm stuck on crutches for awhile yet, but all in all i'm getting around pretty effin' good. i have the hard core pain meds and some physical therapy exercises that I do 3x a day. sitting at a computer desk is a bit uncomfortable, right now i'm in a recliner with the laptop, but to be honest i miss my damn mouse. this finger pad crap is not for me. evidently i lucked into a great surgeon with my referral from my family doctor. he uses larger hip parts (than most dr's) to replace the originals with, which makes the joint stronger and should allow me to do all of the activities that i enjoy after healing. in fact, he said i have absolutely no limitations whatsoever, as long as i can accept whatever pain comes with an activity, the joint can stand up to that activity. i'm told he also inserts the joint at a different place than is typically used during hip replacements, which results in faster healing time. the dr told me that with the size of t

New Rule.
First off I would like to start out by saying that next week I will not be online at all. Because I start a second job. This leads to the new rule I am going to have because... Firstly, at the moment I have been working the late shift at my first job. And I do not appreciate text messages coming to me at say...6 am. Because I am most likely asleep during that time. So, please do not text or call me between the hours of 1 am and 9 am mountain time. You can do the math and figure out what time zone that would be for you guys. I have been on Fubar since ’06 and with me being in the Army I don’t get much time to be on. I have watched the site change and I have changed with it. I remember when you could go days without adding a new friend or being someone’s family was an honor. And people would chat with you just because. But there is one aspect of the site I cannot wrap my head around no matter how hard I try. Lately it has come to my attention that your success depends on who you have in your family. Which I understand fully, but not being successful because people do not like your family members is rather childish. Fortress Of Solitude
As much as solitude can be peaceful, I'd rather have someone to share it with (at which point it also ceases to be solitude, but I don't care). Drove through and around the French Quarter in New Orleans for a bit before heading off to Thibodeux, where I'm fixing a leaky robot. Looks like a really fun place to be. Didn't feel like paying $20 bucks to park since it's just me, and all the street parking was thoroughly filled. I'll have to come back to NOLA when I don't have anyplace else to be. I got to walk around a wintery Salem, Mass. several years ago, drove around some very scenic areas now unfortunately on fire in Los Alamos, New Mexico. Somehow seeing all these things and places might be more of an experience for someone more extroverted than myself. I'd rather not be alone, no matter how much they're paying me to be there.

A New Day
So much has happened in the past 3 years. I don't even know where to start. But, I'm inspired to write something by Corey, the love of my life. We got engaged over this past Christmas. I was happy to say yes. I love him more than words can express. We have been through trials and tribulations, and came through shining. ive been thinking about a lot of things lately. some concern me physically, some emotionally, and some mentally. i would have to say that ive never been as depressed as i am at this point in my life. it has taken a year to hit me completely, but my life as i knew it, ended on december 27th, 2006. im not going to go into detail, but everything up to that point didnt seem to have very much impact on me. then one phone call sealed my fate. ive thot about it daily. i find myself thinking about it out of nowhere, but its too late to change anything. i guess in the end i got what i deserved, or at least earned. my biggest fear was that i would die alone. for awhile i defied the odds. i read everything i could on the subject and i thot maybe i would avoid the mental and emotional devastation that so many before me have suffered. i was wrong. i know im deeply depressed now. ive lost interest in everything that i used to care about. ive closed myself off and ive lost all hope. the worst part is
