All you have to do is make your selection of 3,6, or 12 hours from the drop down below the box. Maybe this will help everyone with those "don't give me your points" statuses. Or something. Thanks for reading! - JD

Hello everyone. Just an update to the bling likes I saw that went into effect today in case anyone went to like a bling again or wonders why the counters were reset, here is the why as of 9/12/18:

Basically it means you can like a bling once - ever now also.

Good morning friends.

I get this question it seems every year that I am here for it and the answer to the question is very simple.

Every year Fubar blacks out the Happy Hours in rememberance of the attacks that took place on 09/11/01.

Personally, I think it is actually really cool.

We can never forget as a nation what happened that day and how it has literally impacted all of our lives, probably more than you even realize.

So tomorrow instead of whining about points, color, rank and rates, take a moment of silence and remember those that gave their lives that day, whether it was innocent civilians just going to work or our brave military and first responders.

Hey all. How are we? Hope you all are having a great evening!

Well, looks like we have a new Power Up bling, the Skeleton Key:

This does what it says it does in the description. BUT the key here is that when they mean bling that ANYONE has - it literally means ANYONE.

Even if they have you blocked!

So it works like the Pimp Hand does in that regard.

A little history here: when FuPonies first came out people would block other people that polished theirs before there was actually permissions that you could set. But if you get this Power Up then you're pretty much free and clear to do what you want.

If you really want to annoy someone or FINALLY polish those exotics and LE's for Achievements that you need well, here's your best bet. You'll probably make people mad but that's the way of things.  Of course everything here is subject to update and change.

Tips:

Make sure the profile whos' bling you are targeting is actually dirty before activating it.

Don't forget the "within one hour before and one hour after" rule for polishing.

Try to stack it with a polisher and 2x points.

On a polishing bonus these will probably be all over so prepare accordingly.

Hi kids. This one kind of broke late Monday but I figured that it warranted a post. See the screengrab below:

Here's an explanation for those of you who are unaware of what "scripting" is.

Basically it is using any kind of third party application on the site to automate activities such as ranking, rating, liking etc.

It can be a program, application, add on, or modification to your current operating system on your PC, Tablet or Phone that alters the way that actions (ie, rating, liking, etc) are performed on the site.

Basically it's a form of automation that substitutes you from actually having to do the physical work.

Scripting has been a plague here for well over a decade. But I can tell you that if they put this in today and they are already catching people then it's light years ahead of how it used to be.

So if you, or someone you know uses anything like this, it's probably not a good idea to continue effective now.

You wouldn't want all of your hard actual work and money you have put in here wasted because I am telling you that's exactly what will happen.

Hey kids. I know this is probably a hot button topic but when have we ever shyed away from those anyway? ...

There's been a lot of chatter lately about these Happy Hour raffles. And I, like many of you, noticed that the same people kept winning over and over again. But with the enhancements to the APP and PC versions of the raffle, allowing you to purchase 100 tickets with one click, it's kind of made it easier to put max Fubuck entries in at once instead of entering one ticket one hundred times. Because let's face it, not a lot of you did that. I didn't either because let's face it - I'm lazy sometimes. So the other day they wifey and I decided to try it out , entering 100 tickets for 100 million FUBUCKS option as shown below for a couple of days:

Neither of us won day one or two. Day three however she scored the Happy Hour shown below:

There were no credits used to purchase the winning Happy Hour raffle ticket. This is a first hand account. So it is indeed possible to win a Happy Hour using max FUBUCKS entires and no credits spent. I still haven't won (lol) but it's fun regardless and at that Fubuck price, why not right?

That brings us to the next tricky thing called math. In the beginning of the raffles, there were about 700-1,000 entries at any given time for any given slot. So if you actually took the time to hit that 100x, you had about a 1 in 7 to 1 in 10 chance of winning. Those kind of odds tend to lend themselves to people winning more often than not. And if they spent the 1 credit or however many for additional entries then their odds increased dramatically. But now, there are thousands of entries for happy hour slots on the regular. So if there are 3,000 entries per say, if you just use Fubucks you now have about a 1 in 30 chance of winning. The midnight and 8am slots will have considerably more entries because that's well, when people are awake.

Of course the credit entries change the dynamic if used but you run the risk of losing credits, so to each their own I guess.

Fubucks in large amounts are pretty easy to come by these days so the price itself shouldn't be THAT much of an issue if you want to win one the law of averages is on your side. It just might take awhile and well, none of us are very patient. So there's that.

I'm sure there will be some modifications and enhancements in the future for this just like everything else on Fu so stay tuned but I just figured I would share a first hand account for the record.

Happy Friday, just in case some of you see like flaming tooltips or something, it's due to the launch of the new VIP+ subscription level.

The screenshot of the (monthly only at this time it appears) cost and additional features you receive with this is shown below:

It's pretty cool and something new for the VIP membership and you get credits too.

I'm sure down the road there will be other things linked to it as well as is the case with most things on Fu.

Hi kids. Looks like we finally got a new Powerup bling:

The Ability Stone.

The description says you get unlimited ability points for one hour and YOUR limits are removed. This doesn't mean the person you are using these ability points on limits are removed, yours are, for that hour and for the rest of the whole Fu day. So basically if you somehow find a way to max out your own limits, when the Stone expires you will be cooked. And odds are after that hour you'll be pretty cooked anyway.

Here's what you get:

25 AP for giving it to someone and 25 AP for getting it from someone.

If you buy it for yourself well, you don't get either of those Achievements. At least not as of this posting but as we know everything around here is subject to change.

This is what I would do with it...

I'm sure some of you Pro Achievo people will probably let me know in the comments below what you would do better. lol. So here goes..

1. Max out your ability points for the day before you turn it on.

Well, you don't have to but that's what I would do. Apparently it's been updated to reflect the ones and limits you had prior to activating it (thanks Snazzi for the info!) So it seems like it's now an independent of what you already had-for-the-day kind of thing.

2. You can reset if needed.

Run one, run out? Desperate to get those Achievements before someone else for some reason? Okay. Turn on another one. It (should) reset you back for another round. Rise repeat if you are that kinda Fu.

3. Personally, I wouldn't waste it shitfacing and buzzkilling people, but that's up to you.

Remember the point is that you have unlimited ability points for an hour so I'd max it out on things that cost more ability points (my personal favorite is the reset 11's because you can literally just sit on someone's page and reset them in a rapid fashion) but to each their own. If you tab out a ton of tabs to vouch/cloak/point boost etc, that might work out better for you. But it's your own personal preference.

4. PC or APP?

If you are hitting on person (ie, resetting 11's) then use the APP. If you are going for a wider array of ability use then personally I would tab out the free world and hit them in rapid sucession via a browser using a PC. Don't script please. You'll probably get caught.

At this time, you can't give more than one person your points however. You can see the issues with that, the same people would be top ranked in scores daily, because, well, that's what they would do.
