This year we have seen a lot of new achievements and points oppurtunities when interactiong with newbies. 

Blessing

We now can bless newbies, from lvl 80 and up. (from fu-bible):

Level 80 and up members are allowed to bless new members to help get them going.  After 3 blessings, the new member will get a minirang, which is a boomrang that lasts for 1 hour instead of 4. Members get the following blessings per day:

Top level: 15,

88 and up: 10, 87: 9, 86: 8, 85: 7, 84: 6, 83: 5, 82: 4, 81: 3, 80: 2

There are achievements Newbie MiniRangfor multiples 1x, 10x, 25x, 50x, 100x, 250x, 300x, 400x, 500x, 600x, 700x, 800x, 900x, 1000x, 1100x, 1200x, 1300x, 1400x, 1500x, 1600x, 1700x, 1800x, 1900x, and 2000x for total of 3963AP 

To get these achievements, you can be the 1st, 2nd or 3rd person to bless newb,  as long as they get a minrang you get credit.

If you do this solo, I recommend at 12th page of new members and looking thru all 25, and find those who 1 or 2 more blessing to be completed. You be helping yourself and others who are missing blessings. Another way is to work with a couple others and bless together. 

Also there are new achievements Rate/Like newbies who have been blessed 3x, you can can easily tell they have because they have a minirang in their bling. Achievements Like/Rate 5x, 50x, 100x, 250x, 500x, 1k, 2.5k, 5k, 7.5k, 10k, 25k, 50k, and 100k, for 1452AP

This is easier, like/rate all 12pages of latest members, they will add up quite fast, keep in mind this will work torwards the next group of achievements. In multiples 5x,10x, 25x, 50x, 100x, 250x, 500x, 1kx, 2kx, 3kx, 4kx, 5kx, 6kx, 7kx, 8kx, 9kx, 10kx, 15kx, 20kx, 25kx, 50kx for another 622AP

There is a tonne of Ability based usage on newbies achievements, well over 10k AP.

I believe the goal for the, this is my thoughts, is get more retention of newbs to stay make the place grow and have fun. And who know may you and I make some new life long friends.
