the band name...the band i sing for now...er again.

more players, bigger name to fit em in.

how funny last night's jam session was to have a few hipsters come have a listen.

but while i was warming up...singin "warming up"...i could barely hear the drums over some chick's know it all voice and stories.

of course, nothing against people hanging out and listening to us jam...but

jesus god!! i think this girl wanted to be heard over the music.

and i realized how far off...these people were.

no clue what we were playing...no chance of learning that fast.

and i was stuck.

i couldnt sing...all i heard was that yappy drunk high pitched voice.

but..i know the rest of the band felt it.

or heard it.

and noticed that the people not playing anything were feeling left out haha.

hipsters...rockstars...indie cool folks that need to be acknowledged non-stop.

i sang over it all.

the guest guitarist seemed scared...he "never played this kind of music" haha

it didnt go too well...yet the core players stayed on point.

i just couldnt fully get into it as much as usual.

but it was a test...to see if we could improvise and keep playing with obnoxious interferance.

we did.

and before they all left...i and the rest of the band was complimented on how good we sounded.

they "had no idea!"

couldnt believe it!

i was told i shocked em because i can sing.

its just funny to me.

the show of shock and disbelief by these folks.

its a compliment and a pat on the head at the same time.

yes i can sing..thats why i do it.
