What are you waiting for?
It's not always the ones sitting in the corner all alone. It's not always the ones sitting and crying in a room full of people. Sometimes.... sometimes it's the ones with the biggest smiles. The ones making everyone in the toom smile and laugh. The ones that use their smiles and jokes to maks the pain they feel inside. The ones tha hold in their cries for help because they don't want others to see the weekness they feel.
They want you to see them as strength, a rock, the glue holding it all together. They are the ones that you look at and think to yourself... "How the hell are they not falling apart right now?"
Well let me see if I can answer that for you.... They are the ones everyone depends on to get them through the hard times. They use this as the reason to hold it in until they are alone and feel it is safe for them to let it all go. They never show you their weak side, the one that puts them in that dark place they never share. The place where they feel all alone, where they see themselves standing in a huge crowd of people screaming and not a single soul notices them.
Untill one day they can take no more. Untill the day comes and they do the unthinkable. And when that day comes some call them cowards, some say "But they always seemed so happy" or "They had such a great life, what reason could they possibly have to have done this?"
So sometimes I hope that, when you see them or if it is too late and maybe you hear these questions, maybe you will say..... "Sometimes it is the strongest among us that are truly hurting the most."
