A long time ago
A demon fell in love
The girl that he loved
Was an angel from above
The angel loved him back
For everything he was
These feelings had to be hidden
They knew this love was forbidden
They were from different worlds
But they tried their best
Loving and caring for each other
Never letting their love go to rest
But one fateful day
Satan planned an attack
To run heaven his way
No turning back
The demons job
Was to collect all angels
And lock them behind bars in hell
Their task was quite simple
If a demon were to refuse this task
Their punishment would be far worse
The demon smiled with a fake mask
But inside he was very worried...
They were going to strike heaven
At the crack of dawn
Getting ready for the attack
But inside the demon felt so wrong
He had to tell the angels
Or they would be forever caged
But it wasn't that simple
How could he get away?
He pondered at that thought
But it was too late
The demons were already heading
Up to heavens gate
They had caught almost every angel
And put them in chains
Locked them up
To watch their pain
The rest of the angels
Had to put of a fight
They weren't going to give up
Not tonight
The demon wrote a quick letter
To give to his loved one
But he couldn't find her
Where ever he went
This letter was for the angel
In case he got caught
He wanted the angel to have this
To maybe remember him or maybe not
Finally he found the angel
Crying in such a way
The demon came and sat next to her
And wiped her tears away
The demon handed her the letter
She hesitated for a second though
He said please read it later
So they spoke no more
Satan had witnessed what happened
And couldn't believe his eyes
How long has he been doing this?
How many times did he lie?
"Kill her!!!" Satan shouted
And handed the demon a knife
The demon just stared at it
He couldn't take her life
This knife was not ordinary
For it could kill spirits too
Destroying them like they never existed
The demon had no idea what to do
The angel gazed at the demon
Her eyes said please don't
What are you waiting for Satan urged
The demon couldn't do it he won't
I can't do it said the demon
Satan grabbed the knife
He was about to slash the angel
When the demon jumped and lost his life
Days had passed
Since the demon was gone
The war went on but
More was yet to come
When heaven had won
And the demons went back to hell
Never to come to heaven again
Or their pain would surely dwell
The angel remembered the letter
And opened it with haste
She read it to herself
Not letting those words go to waste
The letter said I'll miss you
And we will be together,
I will always think of you even though
We aren't close I'll still love you forever
She never forgot him
Her feelings never drifted away
For when the demon and the angels love
Never died but grew that day
